Very easy to install.
I used liquid nails to transition from laminate to vinyl. make sure you have a finishing blade and measure twice! Overall, great product, and love the service at LL.

This reducer will come with the track.Q:
Will this reducer work as a transition from a higher laminate floor (also santos mahogany 7mm) down almost an inch to the kitchen flooring? I am concerned about the drop down to the kitchen floor. Also, does the reducer sit on the edge of the laminate floor or abut up to the edge? Previously we had a saddle simply angled down (and screwed into the subfloor) from the old carpet to the kitchen floor.1 answer

I am sorry but this trim will not fit for this much of a drop. The edge would overlap the laminate.
