I bought this to remove old vinyl tiles from the 70's that were really dried out and brittle. This product would only remove tiny chips. My 22 year old son couldn't even get it to go under the tiles. The problem is the edge is squared instead of angled so it does not go up under the tile. I called the store and was told to keep trying and it would develop an edge. No such luck. I ended up renting a heat gun which melted the adhesive under the tiles which then could be peeled up.
