Installed 450 square feet of this product in a Living Room, Hallway, and Kitchen. The product was fairly easy to install (I rented a Powernail 455 flooring nailer, highly recommended), but in close quarters, it's worth looking into a Crain close-to-wall stapler. Someof the boards weren't arrow-straight, so be prepared to work them into line. The coloring and grain are simply stunning once installed, and the prefinished coating is beautifully glossy. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product. The moldings, however, leave a bit to be desired. Whereas the flooring is rich in natural color ranging from pinks/reds to tans and browns, the moldings are very dark, almost appear to be stained red. They blend in fairly well, just not what I was expecting at that price point.

Had someone install it for me and he did a beautiful job. In all MUCH less expensive than a certain orange national hardware store was quoting. I love the look of the American Cherry although as advertised, it is a bit soft and dents easily. For a bedroom, though, it seems to be just fine.

We love our new floors. Our favorite wood is cherry so we naturally wanted cherry floors. Our bedrooms look great!! No more carpet!!!

This flooring was easy to install, with help from a friend. Even though it dents it becomes warmer and more beautiful with time.

would like to install this in a bathroom; bathroom has toilet and shower/tub. I understand that I need to wipe down moisture which may get on the floor after a shower....1 answer
A:
Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
What is best way to clean this? Installed now 2 years, we are getting the white mineral deposits.1 answer
A:
I have not heard of any white mineral deposits with American Cherry, but this can occur with Brazilian Cherry. If you have white mineral deposits coming to the surface cleaning the floor will not remove them. A board replacement is the only way to fix this natural occurrence. For cleaning the floor we recommend using a dust mop for everyday cleaning and the Bellawood floor cleaner for a deeper clean. |
