Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" Select Ash:
I decided to spend the extra money for the select grade, Bellawood is right the boards are longer and with an average of less than 2% defects per box,I can assure you the installation is not a walk in the park, those videos that show you how to install hardwood floor are way too far from reality but after 4 days of hard labor I am very pleased with the results.
Service and delivery comments:
By the time I paid my bill, my order was already loaded in my truck, when I returned my excedent the same thing. Those guys really apply the concept of "prompt and courteus" service.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" Select Ash:
Going through over 500 sq. ft. of product, I came across boards with snipe (where the thickness planer cut too deep at the end of the board). Also more boards were missing sections of tongue or had serious knots or were warped than I had experience just a couple of years ago with the same product. Quality control appears to be a bit lower than before.
Using prefinsihed boards won't give as even a floor as one you sand in place and finish, but the prefenished boards have a much more durable finish on them so it's a trade-off.. . and of course, no paint thinner smell in the house! You have to think about this before choosing.

We had this floor professionally installed in Dinning Room, Kitchen, Family Room and Living Room 860sq. ft in all. Lumber Liquidators were excellent to deal with..order arrived on time and they had no problems taking back the 140sq. ft. returned. We would recommend them to everyone!!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" Select Ash:
I installed the same floor a number of years ago with a manual nailer. I installed this floor with a pneumatic nailer. The ease of the second installation was astounding. I installed the two floors side by side as we'd had carpet in the other half of the room. I was amazed by how much darker the original floor had become compared with the new material. I imagine with time they will blend, but right now it's like night and day!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 2-1/4" Select Ash:
I just installed this in a small bedroom in my home and it is great. It was easy to install and of very high quality. This was my first floor installation and it looks great. My only mistake is that I did not order enough and had to use some product form a different mill which was a bit darker. Rookie mistake. Other than that it was a great experience and I cannot wait to do antother room in the house.

Up above, when I said I was surprized with the product. The surprizing thing about the floor is how much brighter it makes the rooms where it was installed.
