Florida's humid climate precluded us from using any other wood flooring product other than engineered due to the possibility of future warpage.
First considered Bellawood's wider 5" cherry planking, but after compairing the narrower Bellawood Brazillian Cherry to it couldn't resist the apparent visual differences. The narrower planks gave an overall tailoring to the final product.
Durable and handsome, we are quite pleased with our narrower choice in Bellawood's fine Brazillian Cherrywood enginerred flooring...and so is our 200 pound English Mastiff. So far the flooring seems to be hard as nails!

Best Uses
We installed the wood in our living room, hall, and bedroom. With the underlay it is much quiter than we had expected. It has completely transformed the rooms.
All living areas work well , the flooring is beautiful
The surface is very hard and seems durable
Fitting was a bit tricky , some of the longest boards were warped and had to be forced into shaped and allowed to dry over night.

Q:
How do you clean/maintain the floor?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk.Q:
Why is this product considered "unstable" and therefore not suitable for application over radiant floor heating? What does unstable mean? Will it warp and/buckle?1 answer
A:
Stability is not the issue with this engineered brazilian Cherry.Q:
The instructions posted with the Bellawood Engineered Hardwood provide little detail on the installation of floating the floor and edge glueing. I just bought 1,000 sq ft of Bellawood Engineered flooring from Lumber Liquidators and plan to edge glue and float all of the flooring. What type of surface applied liquid vapor barrier do you recommend for use on existing concrete slab installation? What adhesive do you recommend? My installer used a product that combined the vapor barrier function with the adhesive function and results are not satisfactory. Is this an accepted installation method? Thanks1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Hardwood Engineered has a dimensional stability recommended for glue-down on flat and level tile or concrete. Troweled on Moisture Barrier is recommended if subfloor is on or below grade concrete. Always use the same manufacturer of moisture barrier and adhesive or combo type adhesive moisture barrier.Q:
