Customer Rating

3/4" x 3-1/4" Select Brazilian Redwood Prefinished Select Flooring

Length: 1'-7'

Brazilian Redwood is an elegant choice for the more conservative home or business owner that still desires the quality of exotic hardwood.  This wood has a more uniform texture and slight color variations.  In addition to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, this floor's strength and durability consistently surpass its competitors.

What is "Select Grade"?
Select Grade flooring contains natural characteristics such as small knots and minor color variations produced by differences in natural heartwood and sapwood; It does however maintain a more uniform color.  Select grade flooring also has longer average plank length compared to Natural grade flooring products.

  • Q:

you said in my last question (about rosin paper between new hdwd and old hdwd) that if running parallel I need to put 3/8 plywood on old floor first, then you said to ADD 3/8 0f CDX plywood too. Is that what you meant ? So I need two layers of plywood ? Below this bedroom is a finished, heated playroom (basement). I am really confused about this now.
    Thank You, Kathy

Either run the new flooring perpendicular or diagonal to old or if you want your new flooring to run in the same direction as the old flooring; lay 3/8" plywood (one layer) over the old flooring before installing the new. This is to isolate board movement so your fasteners will not pop or squeak. The old flooring and new flooring will expand and contract at different rates. The plywood will stop this.
