This product was installed in 1200 sq/ft of the house which included hallways, den, dining room, breakfast area, and kitchen. The quality appears great with a nice bright shiny finish. We couldn't have made a better decision by choosing this product as the outcome is awesome. The installers were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, who had the job completed in 4 days with no issues. The store sales personnel were extremely professional, helpful, and accommodating.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Select Maple:
We replaced an old laminate floor with this product, and needed the thinner size. We also hired a professional to install, which was very beneficial as the installer indicated that the wood was sometimes a challenge with the smaller pieces.
However, it is worth it!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/8" x 3" Select Maple:
This is a beautiful wood floor. In our family, it was worth it to hire a professional to install it because we didn't want to chance marring its beauty. Our den floor is Brazilian Walnut by Bellawood but we wanted something lighter for the rest of the house. So, we chose the maple to match the lightest colors of the Walnut. We love it.

Flooring itseslf was quality. Nice finish and select grade as advertised. Product was shipped in the time promised. I had it installed by professionals who were very impressed by it. The 3/8 design made it possibe to install in the kitchen right over the old linoleum and not interfear with the cabinet and door heights. Looks beautiful with the cherry cabinets. So far is wearing great!

Q:
How are hardwoods put on cement floors?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
There are several methods to achieve this. Hardwood Engineered has a dimensional stability recommended for glue-down on flat and level tile or concrete. All 1/2" and under Solid Hardwood (and certain Virginia Mill Works and 3/4" shorts 36" and shorter) can be glued as well but On or Above Grade only. Troweled on Moisture Barrier is recommended if subfloor is on or below grade concrete. Always use the same manufacturer of moisture barrier and adhesive or combo type adhesive moisture barrier.Q:
Would this flooring be ok installed in a kitchen or should I look into the engineered flooring in case of water spills?1 answer
A:
This would be a good choice for your kitchen, an engineered product would work well too but this solid is a better selectionQ:
How many times can a 3/8" floor such as this be sanded and refinished on average?1 answer
A:
Full refinishing will take slightly under a 1/32” off the veneer of the wood flooring. The thickness of the veneer and how much wear and dents a floor has will determine how many times it can be refinished. Solid hardwood that is ¾” thick may be refinished 4 to 7 or more times depending on how much wood was taken off on each refinishing. Low profile solid wood flooring like 5/16” thick flooring may be able to be refinished twice if the flooring is in good shape. Engineered flooring with a 1/8” wear layer or more will be able to be refinished at least once. If the engineered product has a 1/16” wear layer a professional sander may be able to refinish it, but many won’t take the chance in case they make a mistake and take too much off the wear layer. We recommend that hardwood floor refinishing be done by a professional and if your not sure if you can refinish your flooring have professional sand and finish expert come to your home and evaluate your flooring. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
