We Redefined Quality, Again. We set the quality standard by introducing a groundbreaking finish so tough it allowed us to offer one of the first 50 year warranties. Others followed. So, we raised the bar again. Now Bellawood is backed by a Certified 100 Year Transferable Warranty that covers you and generations to come. Exceptionally beautiful, and strong. Maple is ideally suited for dining rooms, kids? rooms and other areas where fine living meets the demands of everyday life. Its colors range from creamy white to a light reddish brown and it can often be found in dance studios and basketball courts. If it can stand up to performances like these, just image how well it will perform in your home. It Taber Tested "the Best." When subjected to the industry sandpaper abrasion test, known as Taber Testing, Bellawood's durability results were more than double most comparably priced floors. There's good, there's better—and then there's Bellawood.

The floor looks better than we had hoped. I had a professional install it and it was well worth it. He stated the the pieces were consistent with not too many short boards.

Be careful when installing because some boards are not same size and creates gaps in floor. Had to tear up a few because of this. Floor looks beautiful when finished

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Select Maple:
I have to admit, I am rarely impressed by a product enough to write a review, but this Bellawood Select Solid Maple is a true winner. Almost no short pieces in the box and a lot of fairly long ones. Coloration of this select grade was great with almost no dark spots in the wood. This was my first time laying 3/4" solid flooring - and it turned out spectacular with a pneumatic nailer i got on [@]. If you are looking for beautiful maple flooring, look no further!

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Select Maple:
We put the flooring in our Living room, Dining room, Master Bedroom, and halls. We are so pleased with it. We wanted to upgrade our home that was built in the 70's and have a lighter and more modern looking home. It far surpassed my expectations.
Service and delivery comments:
We picked it up ourselves when we were ready for the flooring. It was in perfect condition and looks just beautiful. We did not install ourselves because we put it in our halls, Dining room, Living room, and Bedroom. Everyone we dealt with was so nice and helpful.

I purchased the Bellawood select maple. I expected some color variations which is ok, but I also received alot of pieces that had black lines on them. This is not what I expected from a select product.

Love this flooring, however we did receive way to many short pieces and not enough medium pieces. Some pieces had missing tounges, corners broken.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Select Maple:
I'm thankful we bought an extra two boxes, because we needed it. While the pieces that are straight are perfect, there are quite a few that aren't in each package we bought. I would say there was at least 15% that wasn't usable in the main room (I was able to cut them up to put at the back of the closets, out of sight). The bow was along the width, not the length - not an issue of improper storage or transport.
All told though, we're very happy with our floors. They are just stunning to look at and feel great underfoot.

I simply love my new maple floors. They are beautiful in color, easy to maintain. Out with the carpet, in with wood floors.

Can I mix and match Bellawood 3/4 by 3-1/4 select maple with Bellawood natural maple of the same size. i.e are the grooves fully compatible. Thanks1 answer
A:
You could but will need to make sure that they are from the same mill.Q:
I have two large dogs and would want to know if this flooring is durable. If it is scratch resistant to having dogs walk on it. If not, which Bellawood product would you recommend?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I have a Bellawood floor that holds up extremely well to our Hound Mix, new puppy, and Boxer. Not to mention nieces, nephews, and work shoes. Excellent finish. Harder floors like hickory or exotic will dent less easily. 3/4" hardwood can also be refinished several times. Light colors will hide scratches. Remember nothing is scratch proof but some do better than others.Q:
What is the recommended product(s) for cleaning this floor1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
How much, if any, will maple darken overtime ?1 answer
A:
All wood species can change color over time due to oxidation or when exposed to light. In some species, the change can be more dramatic and may darken in color over time, while others tend to lighten. Currently there is no known value set for Patina or color change of a species so contractors and or customers should be aware of this normal condition. The patina process is unrelated to the urethane finishes.Q:
I recently purchased this item. The guy who sold me the hardwood also suggested an underlayment as a sound barrier. When I got home and checked the underlayment it was Elastilon. The instructions that came with it as well as all the information on the web suggests that Elastilon is for floating floors and has an adhesive surface for the flooring to stick on to. I'm planning a nail down installation with 2" cleat nails and a flooring nailer. Can Elastilon be still used as a sound barrier/underlayment with a nail down installation?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, Elastilon is an installation system, no nails. If sound is a concern, you need either 3mm cork, Eco Silent Sound, or Insulayment. Otherwise 15lb felt is all that is suggested. You can find details here - http://www.lumberliquidators.com/custserv/aboutus.jsp?pageName=Flooring101Q:
Could you please let me know how long are the planks? If they are random could you please let me know min and max dimentions.1 answer
