Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 4" Select Maple:
I expected the Select quality to have less color variation and less grain marks. Not 100% happy with it but it will suffice in a small studio apt and it is too much hassle to change it now.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 4" Select Maple:
Boards fit together nicely. Was able to get them tight without much effort. However, pieces do not appear to be milled precisely, as there are some places where seams between boards is not uniform, especially end joints, but you really need to look at the floor to see it. Overall, received rave reviews from people who saw it.

Beautiful finished floor. Love 4" board.
Was professionally installed.
Had a box left because had almost no bad boards and the couple of boards that were not perfect were used deep in closet.
Heavy glass lamp fell on floor and broke - left no dent or scratches.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 4" Select Maple:
Many pieces were less in width by an 1/16 to an 1/8. Some were also not as thick. Be very careful to sort the bad ones out as they are not obvious until they are nailed next to the correct ones.

We put this floor in a dining room which has custom baseboard and elaborate crown molding. It looks fabulous and is very consistant with its grain pattern.

Beautiful finish; looks very solid. We are just finishing it up this weekend and are very excited to see the end result. The only con was that when we had to come up with two pieces that are exactly 8ft, it was practically impossible as each piece was a different lenght.
