Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Maple:
This is the 3rd floor I have installed. I was very disappointed this time with the engineering of this floor. It was virtually impossible to get the boards to form a nice close seam on the ends. The lengths were fine most of the time. It was also frustrating to find that some of the grooves were not entirely cut out making the boards difficult to set together without me having to router out the groove. I was very disappointed this time especially with what we paid for this floor. Plus, even though we purchased Maple Select (3/4" X 5"), there were clearly boards that had no business being in that grade. I was overall very disappointed.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Maple:
I've done about 1/2 of my house with the 5" Select Maple, and just love it. The closest I could come to a complaint is that maybe 2% of the planks come with chips, defects, broken tongue and grooves, etc. Just be sure to inspect it as you put it in, and save the defective ones for walls, corners, etc.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Maple:
I love the maple I used it in my Kitchen. Its so easy to clean and looks beautiful against my Cherry cabinets. One of the floor boards did crack and we are going to have it fixed. Other than that it has held up great especially with a 3 year old.

Quarter Round Molding that we carry is all 3/4" x 3/4"Q:
We have a second level concrete floor . Is ist best to glue orfloat the floor. 3/4 X 5 maple1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
We do not recommend either when over concrete. You can however use Elastilon as your installation system to achieve this. Elastilon Self Adhesive Underlayment is a good option for any flat subfloor. You can use up to 3/4" thick or thinner solid or tongue and groove engineered flooring (works best with 1/2" or thicker). Floating with Elastilon needs to have an expansion break for spans over 33' on it's width, but not length.Q:

All pre-finished flooring has a micro-bevel.Q:
I have this is my kitchen(prefinished maple)and I am really tired of it;(.I have had it for a verrrry long time) Is it possible to sand this down and stained a darker color?Any other options?Thanks1 answer
A:
Full refinishing will take slightly under a 1/32” off the veneer of the wood flooring. The thickness of the veneer and how much wear and dents a floor has will determine how many times it can be refinished. Solid hardwood that is ¾” thick may be refinished 4 to 7 or more times depending on how much wood was taken off on each refinishing. We recommend that hardwood floor refinishing be done by a professional and if your not sure if you can refinish your flooring have professional sand and finish expert come to your home and evaluate your flooring. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
I read that the length of this wood ranges from 1' to 7', but what is the average length?1 answer
A:
the lengths will vary from box to box so on average the lengths would be 4' long but each box is based on square footage not board lengths, sorryQ:
Can this be installed on above grade concrete?1 answer
A:
This is a solid 3/4" product designed to be nailed to a wood substrate.Q:
