Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Red Oak:
Floor looks great and will likely last for many years. There was too much variation in thickness and width which gave my professional installer fits to avoid unevenness and gaps. Would not recommend for high traffic areas as the gaps and rises will accumulate dirt and produce broken edges. May consider engineered product in the future.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Red Oak:
The grading of the wood was poor. Not talking color, but knots, sap and heart wood, black spots, etc. My expectations based on the proce was higher. The local store was very helpful and exchanged poor quality pieces. In addition to this 20%, I struggled with additional pieces in hidden areas, cut off bad sections, etc. I have adjoining rooms that will need this grade, but will look for alternates when doing other areas.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Red Oak:
We are very happy with the floor. We installed it in our kitchen and it has only been down a few weeks so I can't comment on durability. There were some indentations created from just moving the refrigerator in/out which surprised me. But they are minor and the floor really is beautiful.
Service and delivery comments:
Upon pick up I had two boxes with major damage and a few with minor damage. They immediately ordered replacements for the 2 badly damaged boxes and had them delivered to my house free of charge. I thought about requesting replacements for the other damaged boxes but it was very easy to work around any damaged areas. I just set those boards aside and used them when I needed an end piece or an edge piece. I ended up with very little waste.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Red Oak:
We had the 3/4"x5" Red Oak Select installed in an open area room which included kitchen, dining area and family room about 800sq ft. It's great. It hides the dirt. Workers are coming in and out and not a scatch. You can easily wipe up spills.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Select Red Oak:
The natural red oak just brightened our living room and actually made it look bigger. We carried it right down the hallway. Wish we had done it years ago now that it is done. So much easier to clean. No more carpeting for us. One more room to go and we can't wait.
