We Redefined Quality, Again. We set the quality standard by introducing a groundbreaking finish so tough it allowed us to offer one of the first 50 year warranties. Others followed. So, we raised the bar again. Now Bellawood is backed by a Certified 100 Year Transferable Warranty that covers you and generations to come. An extremely popular flooring choice in American homes, White Oak is characterized by its gorgeous light brown coloring, with slight pink and gray tints cast across some boards. Not to be outdone, its open grain is absolutely captivating, with long rays and the occasional swirl and burl. Put simply, it?s flooring that quietly demands attention coupled with the unmistakable beauty of oak. Crafted Meticulously. Harvested Responsibly. We understand the importance of healthy forests. That's why we only buy from suppliers who practice responsible harvesting and carefully manage their cutting with replanting strategies in place. For us, it's not just about being responsible citizens. It's about being a responsible business too.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Select White Oak:
I had 3 1/4 X 3/4 inch white oak put in my kitchen and den 3 years ago. I then used in the upstairs hallway. When we decided to replace the carpet in the master bedroom, I wanted to put hardwood in the walk-in closet to make it easier to clean and this was the natural choice. This is great flooring.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 3-1/4" Select White Oak:
I had a professional come and install my floor... there was virtually no waste. The boards were all perfect! The floor was easy to install (per the installers) and it looks great!!! I have one dog and three cats and so far (about one month) no scratches. The floor cleans easily has a beautiful sheen to it and what a difference over the carpet. I did the entire main floor of my house. It is a very beautiful wood and makes for a wonderful floor.

Q:
Do stair treads prefinished white oak come in 42"?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
All of our treads come in 36" and 48 "only.Q:
How long should this wood acclimate in the house?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Wood products are affected by environmental conditions. Before installation, acclimate the new flooring in the areas to be installed 10-14 days for most dense exotic species or 2 – 7 days for domestic (North American) species to consistent indoor temperatures of 60°-80° F and constant indoor humidity levels of 35% - 55%. Very dry or humid regions may require extended conditioning. With proper indoor acclimation levels maintained after installation boards should neither shrink nor expand in dimension. Excessive squeaks and gapping can result from poor or no acclimation.Q:
can this be glued down to concrete slab?1 answer
A:
This is a solid 3/4" product designed to be nailed to a wood substrate.Q:
Would animal urine destroy the finish ?1 answer
A:
Pet urine contains uric acid and ammonia which can cause a finish to dull and can discolor a hardwood floor typically making it a dark or black color in appearance, especially if the pet urinates in the same spot over and over again. Cleaning with water and ammonia may not be a good idea as some urine contains ammonia so the animal will be attracted to the same spot again. Spot cleaning with a mixture of warm water and vinegar on a lightly dampened cloth will clean the floor and take care of the smell. Immediately after cleaning buff the area dry. A board replacement can be done for any damaged planks.Q:
How would this product perform in a high humidity area?1 answer
A:
It is important to maintain interior humidity levels in the home for any wood product.Q:
My stairs are 3 feet 4 inches and I question the length of the stair bull nose being just 6 feet 6 inches. I want to use this for each of the 21 steps but find this to be a lot of waste. Can I get longer stair bull nose to accomodate 2 stairs per piece?1 answer
