    How do I install this? It would be a transition from vinyl plank floor to a step down. Will it be flush with the first stair down? Is it vinyl or composite?

      Not sure what vinyl you are installing but I will send instructions for both floating a peel and stick. Yes this is a vinyl molding. Thank you for your inquiry
