Q:How wide are the planks for the 7mm silver oak
Q:7 mm silver lake oak laminate
A:This laminate has a "slight" grained texture.
Q:Can the 7mm Silver Lake Oak laminate flooring be laid in a bathroom floor? I was curious because of the moisture
A:Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our engineered or vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4 and 5mm click together products that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.
Q:Can I get instal instructions on this silver oak laminate?
A:Yes you can!
Q:How does this hold up to dogs....nails and urinary accidents?
A:Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.
Q:What type of saw blade should I use to cut this particular laminate?
A:I like to use and recommend a 60 tooth carbide tipped saw blade.
Q:How durable is this laminate flooring? Is it good enough to cover the entire house with it, including kitchen? What's the difference between beveled and non-beveled laminate?
A:This product question would be better answered by our Sales Department, they are more familiar with all of our flooring products and can better assist you with your questions.
Q:Can I use this on the ceiling?
A:For helpful tips & instructions; Please go to our http://www.lumberliquidators.com//brands/brands.jsp?brandName=WallsCeilings,
Q:can I put in mobil home
A:Yes of course.
Q:We are interested in the product as flooring for our basement. The basement has been professionally waterproofed, has a sump pump, and is extremely dry (no flooding, nor moisture). We have Dri-Core panels installed over the cement floor. Is this product compatible with being installed over the Dri-Core panels? Also, I understand that this product is a 'click together' assembly. We have concern with the small cracks between planks. We don't want a build up of dirt and other day to day particles.
A:Yes this can be installed over any flat solid surface, the clic lok joints are tight so dirt should not be an issue.
