Comments about Dream Home - Ispiri 12mm Sloane Street Teak Laminate:
Product looks Great!
The only flaw is the 3 lengths forces a pattern to use all the pieces in the box equally.
I have used another product with single length boards, and can stagger all the rows and not have a pattern. I do like the non pattern look better.

Comments about Dream Home - Ispiri 12mm Sloane Street Teak Laminate:
I am a hardwood snob since all of my previous homes had hardwoods throughout. When I began pricing hardwoods for the spaces I wanted, I quickly realized it was beyond my budget. I reluctantly looked at engineered and laminate wood flooring and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful some of the finishes were. If I have one recommendation, it is to stay with a 12mm laminate and you will have a very, very durable and beautiful floor. Everyone that has come in my home thinks the floors are real hardwood or engineered. I did intense price checking and you can not beat Lumber Liquidators prices so don't bother looking around. I had my floors professionally installed. I agree that they show dirt but I'm one to keep a clean floor anyway and it sure beats vacuuming and professionally cleaning carpet! I'm very happy!

Comments about Dream Home - Ispiri 12mm Sloane Street Teak Laminate:
I searched for many months to find a laminate floor of both this quality and color. We had a professional install our floor and it went very quickly and he had no problems. We have a large dog but no kids. The dog can leave prints so I use the mop and floor cleaner that I purchased with the flooring and it looks great and cleans easily. I also bought an irobot from ebay and it runs all day and keeps the floor very clean. It was a great investment! Everyone loves our new floor! Buying more today to finish one last room.

Comments about Dream Home - Ispiri 12mm Sloane Street Teak Laminate:
I put this in my entire home (except the laundry room) and love it. It is so beautiful and dark! It does show dirt which is a good thing in our home. The attached padding is nice & the thickness of this product makes it good quality. When you open up your boxes you will find that this product comes in 3 different lengths in each box. I thought this was odd (maybe it's just me). I found it difficult to place the different sizes around the house so that it didn't look strange. Add that to mixing up the boards from all the boxes so you don't match patterns & colors and you have a full day of board placement planning!

Comments about Dream Home - Ispiri 12mm Sloane Street Teak Laminate:
I might choose a different color due to keeping it clean, but the product itself is very good and was pretty easy to install for complete beginners. It started off rough but once we got started it wasn't too bad.
Service and delivery comments:
Getting the transition pieces has been a nightmare in Memphis, TN. They would tell me they would be here a certain day, then no one would call and when I did, they weren't there yet. Frustrating.

We had floors installed...it took them 7 hours to install 210 sq. ft. including removing the carpet. Well worth the money for pro's to install.

Comments about Dream Home - Ispiri 12mm Sloane Street Teak Laminate:
I bought this flooring for my living and dining room. It is impossible to keep clean. I have a dog and 3 kids. I basically clean it twice a day. After I clean it and someone walks through, it has a shoe marks on it. Forget going around bare foot in the summer. It looks awful. I now have everyone wearing socks around the house. Unfortunately, it is slippery then. My hubby is upset that I am having it removed and buying another floor. It is very pretty when it is clean.

I had this floor professionally installed about a month ago and I love it. The shiny finish and colour are just beautiful. It is so easy to clean and does not scratch easily.

Q:
can I use this with electric radiant heat1 answer
A:
Yes you can!Q:
What is the contact information for the manufacturing company to address warranty concerns?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Click on the warranty link under "Specs" on this flooring's page. Warranty issues are handled through us.Q:
Do you need additional underlayment with ones like this that have the pre-attached padding?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No. Padding attached flooring requires no additional padded underlayment. However, 6 to 8 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall.Q:
I am considering vinyl or this Sloan Street Teak Laminate. Which would be better for a kitchen. I am concerned about the water issues.1 answer
A:
For this application, I would suggest the Tranquility product. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
Do you have any tips as to how we can get the best look with this product since there are three different length boards? We are having difficulty with trying to find a pattern where the lines do not meet.1 answer
A:
There is no set "pattern" mix it up, shuffle the deck working out of 3 to 4 boxes using all three lengths. You will still be cutting the starter board in each row to help create a random look. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
I read on the specifications that the maximum room length or width is 27'. Is there any way to avoid this (possibly by increasing the expansion gaps against the walls?). I live in a desert climate with very little humidity, but plenty of heat. Our home is an open floor plan with no true room separation, and t-moulding would look extremely awkward at any location. But, of course, the floor buckling would look more awkward. Thank you!1 answer
A:
Thank you for writing in! I would be glad to help you with your questions.Q:
What is the best way to clean the flooring, if you don't want to use the "special" floor cleaner sold at the store?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
My husband and I just purchased this absolutely beautiful flooring, and have decided to install it ourselves. Is there any tips or common mistakes people make while installing that you can foresee? Also a tip on placing the boards(since they are varying lengths)so we get the most professional traditional look? Thanks ahead of time for your help!1 answer
A:
Thank you for writing in! I would be glad to help you with your questions.Q:
How good is this underlayment pad attached? How does it compare against WhisperPad Premium Underlayment from Floor & Decor Outlets which is 2mm thick compared to this 3mm? How quiet is it?1 answer
A:
I would not be able to compare the underlayments on material that we do not retail versus something that we do, sorry. I can tell you that a 3MM attached pad is helpful in noise reduction and is thicker than most attached padding which is 2MMQ:
How much does each box weigh? or an Approximate? I am trying to minimize the number of trips for pickup?1 answer
A:
Each box of this material will weight 48.96lbs
