Major Brand 3/8" x 3-11/16" Strand Carbonized Bamboo
- Real Bamboo
To make strand bamboo, shredded bamboo fibers are compressed under extreme heat and pressure. This manufacturing process yields flooring that is even harder and more dense than traditional bamboo floors.
And, since bamboo is a naturally sustainable grass that re-grows spontaneously after harvest, you can feel good about making an environmentally friendly flooring decision.
Not enough and want more?
We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)
QUALITY GUARANTEE: This flooring is constructed and tested to meet or exceed industry standards for emissions.

Q:Please advise the thickness of the bamboo layer and composite? Interested in SKU10037043 on sale for $1.99. Thank you. Doris Rogers

Q:is bamboo water resistant
A:Resistant yes, water proof; No.
Q:Our house has a 1/2 inch plywood subfloor over a crawl space. Currently we have 3/4 inch oak hardwood flooring needing to be replaced. Will the 3/8 inch Strand Carbonized Bamboo be stong enough to go over the 1/2 inch plywood subfloor?
A:Unfortunately 1/2" thick subfloor is not sturdy enough, you will need to add an additional 3/8" minimum CDX plywood layer.
Q:If I glue this product down, do i still have to make a break at 30 foot?
A:No you do not.
