Are stair bull noses available for this product?1 answer

Is bamboo a good choice for the kitchen? We have an open concept kitchen, dinning room and living room. Really don't want to use different floors coverings for each room! Thanks1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes bamboo is a good choice for kitchens but we highly recommend you put a throw rug by the sink because an excess of water can damage any floor. Like hardwood flooring, spills should be toweled dry promptly. Strand type bamboo is a very hard and dent resident flooring material and is a good consideration for kitchens. Morning Star Bamboo brand has a quality finish that would be necessary in a high traffic area like a kitchen.Q:
I use a Shark floor steamer to clean my ceramic tile floors. Can I use it on wood, bamboo or laminate flooring, or will it damage it?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. In addition, we do not recommend using steamers or wet-jet cleaning systems for hardwood because spraying can collect moisture in between board edges. The use of these products is at your own risk.Q:
The general info page says this is "low emission"glue. Is that in the construction? Does this specifically qualify as a Low or zero VOC product? Can you provide any further info?1 answer
A:
The adhesive that is used in bonding our Bamboo, Cork, Engineered, and Laminate flooring products contain very low amounts of Urea Formaldehyde. We feel that our products are very safe and most meet California CARB Phase I or California Phase II regulations, which is listed on the boxes. We also list MSDS sheets for most of these products on the Lumber Liquidators website “Flooring 101”.Q:
