Pros

  • Looks great installed
  • Warm And Lustrous Color

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Formal And Informal Rooms
    • Great Wi Mahoganycherry
    • Wow Wi Simple Decor

I replaced 100 year old yellow pine flooring with Sumatra Maple hardwood from Lumber Liquidators because the unique warm color is similar to the aged
flooring, yet much easier to clean and maintain. This flooring is warm and inviting and gorgeous. Looks equally good with formal and informal furnishings. I am very happy with this product.

Is Sumatra Maple safe to use in a kitchen and bathroom? Maple is known for it's hardness but not stability. What would you recommend?

        NAILDOWN INSTRUCTIONS
        Starting point first three rows.
When installing over crawl spaces or rooms over basements use 15 lb. black roofing paper (minimum), or white Silicon Vapor Shield®
to provide protection against moisture vapors. Red rosin paper may be used where there are no moisture issues. (See list of
approved underlayments). Install the new flooring perpendicular to the floor joist. Use the longest, straightest boards available for
        the first two rows.
You can find complete installation instructions on the product page by clicking on the specs tab and then clicking on - Installation Guide.pdf
