Handscraped appearance and texture... Just like Hardwood flooring!

Kensington Manor by Dream Home - 12mm Summer Retreat Teak Laminate Flooring - 30 Year Warranty

Kensington Manor is a premium 12mm +3mm pre-glued underlayment laminate product line. What is unique is that most of the line has a handscraped finish appearance. This is not simply in the look, but also in the actual texture!
The combination of these 2 characteristics gives them a beautiful rustic feel!
Also, the V-groove and pre-glued 3mm underlayment will make your installation process quick and easy.

Quick Installation Tips:
- Store flooring flat for 48 hours in its original packaging at room temperature.
- Must be installed over a clean, stable, flat, smooth, and dry surface.
- Moisture barrier is required for installations over concrete.
- Make sure the panels are mixed sufficiently when you install them so that you do not end up with too many identical, light or dark panels next to each other.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ADDITIONAL PADDING:
Laminates having pre-attached padding can also be installed over an underlayment. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of Bellawood Platinum, Bellawood Premium, Quiet Walk or the Eco Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments offer best joint/seam support while ensuring superior thermal sound reduction qualities, these properties are highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.

Kensington Manor Flooring Advantages:
- No glue and no nails needed
- Easy Click Installation
- Moisture resistant board
- Thickness: 12mm + 3mm (1/8") pre-glued underlayment
- AC Rating: 3
- 30 Year Warranty

We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)

It's simple...
Beautiful look. Beautiful quality. Beautiful price.

  • Q:

Can laminate floor with underlayment be installed on stairs?
Asked on 10/1/2014 by duck from El Paso, Texas

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Generally you would cut off the existing overlapping stair nose and then install laminate nosing and flooring. However, laminate flooring and nosing isn't a great idea for stairs, fine for one or two steps but we caution the use of it on an entire staircase. People do it but it can be unsafe. Check your local building codes.  Hardwood flooring and nosing works great, when laminate IS used you must fully glue will 100% urethane adhesive without the use of padding, padding attached laminate must have paddling scraped off.

  • Q:

Is your laminate ok for bathrooms? Ive heard HDF or MDF would swell in that setting?
Asked on 12/9/2013 by Lenny from Hudson Valley, NY

      A:

Yes, laminate is acceptable for installation in a powder room. It is recommend to put a throw rug by the sink because an excess water can damage the boards. You will need to wipe up any water that sits on the floor as soon as possible. However a full bathroom that is showered in everyday may not be the best location for laminate. Often there is too much water on the floor or humidity that can be absorbed into the flooring resulting in board edge swelling. Resilient and Tile floors are a better choice for these areas. Thank you for your inquiry

  • Q:

Can these planks be laid at 90 degrees without the use of a transition strip? I have a hallway which would look best running longways, that enters into a room in which the long direction is the other way. I would like to not have a threshold/transition strip. Will the joints work that way?
