Comments about Summer Retreat Teak Laminate T-Molding:
Used to transition between rooms when installing laminate flooring. It provides a very smooth transition with little added height. This makes running the sweeper easier and no trips on high edges.

Comments about Summer Retreat Teak Laminate T-Molding:
I bought the t-molding as well as the reducer. The reducer is good as a transition to both tile and carpet. The T-molding we used to break the flow of the laminate so that it didn't run more than 30 feet (per installation recommendation), basically in the door way between rooms.
The color matches exactly.
The plastic track makes it easy to install, just nail or glue it down and then press in the molding. The only 'other' is that the laminate seems to scratch off revealing the unfinished underneath. We countered this with a black and brown sharpie to cover up the scratches. It works when there is no direct light on the surface, but you can see the difference when light shines on it (from the difference in sheen).

Comments about Summer Retreat Teak Laminate T-Molding:
This laminate floor is extra thick (12mm), has attached sound padding and a handscraped look which all adds up to a real wood look and feel
It was installed in the second floor and with the addition of cork underlayment, we have better soundproofing then we did with pad and carpet

Q:
how thick is the leg on the t-molding?1 answer
A:
I am unsure of the "leg" portion you are speaking off sorry! The dimension on the underside the track is 1/2" and the top of the molding is 2" while the length is 7.5'Q:
What is the appropriate transition that I should use when my flooring butts up to a sliding glass door(to cover quarter inch expansion gap)? T-Molding, Qtr round or End cap?1 answer
A:
The End cap is recommended for this application.Q:
