Comments about 7mm Sunny Day Laminate:
We chose this flooring for our basement. We were happy to find something so whimsical for making the space cheerful. We love how it looks. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it is very shiny and slippery, and it shows dust very quickly. I can live with the dirt because it looks like grass (grass and dirt go together), but it's taking some time to get used to how it feels underfoot. All in all, for the price, it's a good choice for a very different floor option.

Comments about 7mm Sunny Day Laminate:
Amazing look. Easy to install. Looks like a natural grass floor. Adds the cool it factor to my room.
Service and delivery comments:
Special order took longer than expected. One of the boxes was damaged due to the tie strap. The tie strap ate through the box and the side of the planks.(6 of the 8 planks were damaged)

Comments about 7mm Sunny Day Laminate:
I was able to install a 120sf room in a day. The only problem I had was keeping an eye on the seams already laid down. As I added new rows sometimes the gaps would spread a little (1/32") and required a few taps to seat the grooves again. No biggie. I'd get this product again.
Service and delivery comments:
Product arrived from across country on a pallet of it's own. I was able to pick it up in the evening after work. Fast and easy since I had already paid. It was a good experience as usual.

Comments about 7mm Sunny Day Laminate:
We installed the product in my daughter's bedroom to give it an outdoors feeling. It is beautiful and was the easiest laminate installation we have ever had (we've done 3 rooms). Her room is 12 x 13 and we had it finished in under 3 hours and my husband and I are definitely not professionals!

Comments about 7mm Sunny Day Laminate:
After much deliberation I chose Sunny Day Laminate flooring in my downstairs kitchen which is also the laundry area and the most used entrance to the house. This is our informal kitchen that gets the most wear and tear. The floor looks as good today as the first day it was put down over a year ago. I was a laminate snob until this product. I feel if you're going to use "fake" flooring, make it blatant and fun. And for the price, you can't beat it.
Service and delivery comments:
The product was not available in my local store, so I had to go on a road trip to pick up. It was well worth the ride.

Comments about 7mm Sunny Day Laminate:
We saw this product in the mail flyer displayed as a flooring for a sports themed room. My boyfriend who is a professional installed this in his room in under three hours and then painted the chalk lines. It looks great! We did use the quiet floor underlayment purchased from another vendor. The better underlayment definately made the floor more engineered hardwood we have from Lumber Liquidators installed throughout the rest of the house. Would definately install again. Cannot comment on durability, it has just been down about two weeks.

Q:
I have bought Charisma Plus six month ago, just tried to install now. The problem is the locking system. If I lock it length wise they I could not lock it width wise and vice versa even I tapped from the sides. I could never install the laminated floor. My investment is wasted, I would rather buy carpet.Someone can help me how to install, I can not pay for the labor so I want to install myself.1 answer
A:
Please contact me directly and I would be glad to answer any of your installation questions.Q:
can this tile work in a daycare center for children, it has to be mopped often?1 answer
A:
Wet mopping is not recommended for any laminate flooring.Q:
Could we paint yardlines and an end zone on this floor to give the appearance of a football field?1 answer
A:
It has been done before but would not last long and may not stick well.Q:
Do you think this flooring would work well in a laundry/mud room, the only time water would get on it would be if something went wrong with the washer.1 answer
A:
Laminate floor and water are not friends. There are no sealers that will ever make this type of floor completely waterproof as it is impossible to seal every crack. Water always finds a crack and spending time and money applying a sealer might give you a false sense of protection that is not really there. The better option might be to simply consider a waterproof mat application in areas you are concerned with, and quickly dry the floor anytime it does get wet. You may also consider one of our vinyl floors for these areas. Please feel free to contact our product specialists at 1-800-476-0007 with any additional questions or to further discuss your project.Q:
I want to put this in my basement (concrete floor)I have a sump pump installed just in case of flooding, is this vinyl going to hold up under an inch of water? If not please recommend a floor product that I could use instead.1 answer
A:
Due to the possibility of flooding; i would not recommend this laminate product for this application, I would suggest our 4mm click together vinyl Tranquility products that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
we are thinking about this floor for a sports themed man cave family room. do we need to add extra finish to the top to prevent it from being scraped? we have a dog and will be using the room frequently. thanks1 answer
A:
This product cannot be top coated (won't stick).Q:
I have a wall with a door that has an aluminum jam. The jam is flush with the wall and it does not transition; so in other words, the laminate flooring, when installed, would be 1/4" from the jam with no way to trim it out--leaving an exposed gap. The current flooring is carpet with vinyl at the doorway. I plan on installing laminate with the 9/16" baseboard trim. There is no way to put the floor under the jam per the installation guide.1 answer
A:
You got it figured right.Q:
Can I use this floor for a movement area in a gym with a concrete moisture barrier? Does the Eco underlay provide enough sock absorption for dance like Zumba and martial arts? Should I use cork underlayment also? Thanks1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This has an AC 3 rating; Residential, Heavy Traffic: Suitable for all areas. A 6 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier should be laid for floating floors for an On or Below Grade Concrete subfloor. Overlap seams 4" and tape with duct tape. Overlay perimeter 3-4" up wall. Then an approved underlayment, ECO Silent Sound would work well.Q:
I own a hotel in Phoenix with a 3,000 sqft rooftop deck - currently we have modular carpet tiles on top of a built up deck with plywood subfloors, carpet tiles are attached with pressure sensitive adhesive. I'm willing to give this a shot, but just want to make sure it's UV protected - I am not going to be gluing it down to anything, instead I'll be using tactiles, which are basically extremely sticky 4" square stickers that are now used for modular flooring instead of adhesives.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This flooring will not perform well at all outside. A sure failure if not in a climate controlled building.Q:
Can this floor be put on top of carpet?1 answer
A:
No, any carpet will have to be removed because it offers no moisture protection or support to the locking system.
