Give your floors a REAL WOOD look and feel with St. James Collection!

St. James Collection by Dream Home - 12mm Szechuan Ming Bamboo- High Gloss- Laminate Flooring- 30 Year Warranty

With a variety of 12mm V groove laminate options with an additional 3mm of pre-glued underlayment, from a high gloss to a warm low gloss finish, and with deep, warm to medium hues, this spectacular flooring make a stunning floor!
St. James offers a regal alternative. The V groove makes it a snap to install and the random lengths give your floors a real wood look and feel.
At 12mm, the St. James Collection is very durable and comes with a 30 year warranty!

Quick Installation Tips:
- Store flooring flat for 48 hours in its original packaging at room temperature.
- Must be installed over a clean, stable, flat, smooth, and dry surface.
- Moisture barrier is recommended for installations over concrete.
- Make sure the panels are mixed sufficiently when you install them so that you do not end up with too many identical, light or dark panels next to each other.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE ADDITIONAL PADDING:
Laminates having pre-attached padding can also be installed over an underlayment. When doing so, Lumber Liquidators recommends the use of our Bellawood Premium underlayment or ECO Silent Sound underlayment. These quality underlayments will best support the joints while ensuring superior thermal sound reduction qualities and are highly recommended for use with condominium associations, project planners and building specifiers.

St. James Collection's Advantages:
- Real Bamboo Look!
- No glue and no nails needed
- Easy Click Installation
- Moisture resistant board
- Thickness: 12mm + 3mm (1/8") pre-glued underlayment
- AC Rating: 3

Love Love Love this floor!

I installed this flooring about a week ago and it is absolutely stunning. I have two dogs and they run all over this floor and so far not a scratch. It looks beautiful with my colorful decor, and was fairly easy to install after I got the hang of it, which didn't take long. Best decision I ever made, and the price was perfect.

        Not a good long-term floor

        By Carlos&Jen

        from East Tennessee

        Pros

        • Realistic Bamboo Look
        • Thick and sturdy

        Cons

        • Fragile edges
        • High Gloss Footprints

        Best Uses

        • Low-traffic areas
        • No Pets

We installed the flooring about eight months ago, and it was not too difficult. It looks beautiful, with a realistic bamboo look, but I hadn't realized that the high-gloss would show footprints/smudges so dramatically. But I was most disappointed by the fragility of the planks--since installing it, several corners have chipped off, and I see that several other corners are pulling up slightly. We do not have pets, wear slippers in the house, and I have been fanatical about not letting moisture on the floor. Would be a good option for low-traffic areas, and I wish that I had not installed this throughout my entire house (except for bedrooms).

Bought the 12mm flooring in bamboo on sale. This floor is more a craft room for the wife. Floor was easy to put down, click and lock, we did not buy/use a laminate floor install kit and experienced no problems during the installation. We had 6-7 boxes of flooring, no damage to any pieces within the boxes. I can't review if it is durable or not it has only been installed a week.

              Not a Snap

              Pros

                Cons

                  Best Uses

Having three different size planks in the package was advantageous and installation went fairly well with a minimum of cutting. Installation was done after watching video from Lumber Liquidators on You Tube. Sliding planks lengthwise to engage ends did NOT snap together well; pieces frequently broke off and prevented the gap from closing fully. Plank had to be pulled apart and the broken piece removed so that the gap would close properly.

This was my first time installing any type of flooring and found it fairly easy to install. We installed these in the dining/living and hallway and we plan to do the bedrooms in the future.

First time installing floor. It was easy once we figured out the first 2 rows. Got it installed in one afternoon. Was great for a first-time installer. The floor looks great and feels good underfoot. The color blends perfectly with the bedroom decor. Very little scrap or waste. Very happy with the product and the results. Would not hesitate to recommend this product to others.

Due to the excessive moisture present in a full bath we cannot recommend any of our solid natural flooring or laminate products for this application, I would suggest one of our vinyl Tranquility products. We have a 2mm peel and stick and now a 4mm click together product that can go in full bath areas or where moisture is a concern. Thank you for your inquiry.

Carpet and pad needs to be removed for floating flooring installation because the locking mechanism will fail if not on a solid subfloor surface.

Yes Laminates can be installed on stairs. For safety reasons these must be fully glued using urethane adhesives, do not use underlayments.
Laminate flooring can be used to cover a set of stairs but due to the overlap design of the stair nosings it would not be my first choice for a full flight of stairs.
We sell replacement stair treads, retro-fit treads and risers. Thank you for your inquiry.

The cutter we have for sale can be used on a maximum of 8mm. 12mm will require a cut-off, hand circular, or radial arm saw. In addition, larger pro-laminate cutters will work.

Please see attached the IIC and STC testing report of our ST James. The FIIC test is conducted under ASTM E492, while STC test is conducted under ASTM E90.please check the attached standard test method.

Please also see below summary on how the test was conducted:

                                  1. FIIC, reference to ASTM E492.
A standard tapping machine is placed in operation on a test-floor specimen that forms a horizontal separation between two rooms, one directly above the other. The transmitted impact sound characterized by the spectrum of the space-time average one-third octave band sound pressure levels produced by the tapping machines is measured in the receiving room below.
Since the spectrum depends on the absorption of the receiving room, the sound pressure levels are normalized to a reference absorption for purpose of comparing results obtained in different receiving rooms that differ in absorption.
Type of subfloor is concrete, thickness is 25 cm, have no ceiling assemblies.

                                  2. STC, reference to ASTM E90.
Two adjacent reverberation rooms are arranged with an opening between them in which the test partition is installed. Care is taken that only significant sound transmission path between rooms is by way of the test partition. An approximately diffuse sound field is produced in one room, the source room. Sound incident on the test partition causes it to vibrate and create a sound field in the second room, the receiving room. The space- and time-averaged sound pressure levels in the two rooms are determined. In addition, with the test specimen in place, the sound absorption in the receiving room is determined. The sound pressure levels in the two rooms, the sound absorption in the receiving room and the area of the specimen are used to calculate transmission loss.
