I am extremely chemically sensitive, are there water based glues that can be used, and is there any off gassing from the bamboo flooring?

  The adhesives in this product are not water-based.
  For our hypersensitive customers I recommend a solid wood product (they have no off-gassing in there cured state).
  The adhesive that is used in bonding our Bamboo, Cork, Engineered, and Laminate flooring products contain very low amounts of Urea Formaldehyde. We feel that our products are very safe and most meet California CARB Phase I or California Phase II regulations, which is listed on the boxes. We also list MSDS sheets for most of these products on the Lumber Liquidators website “Flooring 101”.

how durable is the surface, how resistant to scratches that may remove the top layer. does it have a surface warranty?

Proposed installation is for bedroom, sub floor 5/8 particle board over 3/4 inch plywood sub floor. If particle board is removed, can Bamboo be glued to plywood?
