Comments about Vintner's Reserve Laminate Reducer:
This reducer created a beautiful transition from my tile and carpet flooring to my newly installed laminate floor. I would highly recommend this product to give your floor a professional finished look.

Comments about Vintner's Reserve Laminate Reducer:
Coworker suggested this brand flooring.Installation was somewhat confusing as we were first timers until we got the hang of it.There were a few boards per box that had little flakes of color missing which had to be repurposed elsewhere. Doesnt seem to chip once installed.Once the floor and base shoe went down, it looks really nice.
Afer thorough sweeping dust doesnt show as much as I thought it would, which is nice.
The areas that we floored were the office/exercise room and hallway. The floor sounds really solid, not "hollow", when walked upon due to the padding of boards underneath I assume. So it doesnt sounds cheap as did previous brand of wood flooring that was in use.We purchased "reducers" for joining tile to wood. Once we brought it home, we noted what we needed was "T molding" which the store cheerfully exchanged for the right product. The threshold boards are a tad bit pricey but look nice, professional and match well the flooring well.

Comments about Vintner's Reserve Laminate Reducer:
Goes on easy and looks good. The only con I can really see is that it does not seem to be a 100% match to the flooring color, but it's close enough. It still looks pretty good, so go ahead and buy it.

easy to use. however the instructions are on the back of the reducer so dont make the mistake we did and cut it before realizing that... it made it kind of difficult to read the instructions

Comments about Vintner's Reserve Laminate Reducer:
This laminate flooring looks so beautiful, like real hardwood. Our big dog jumps and slides on it, and haven't found any scratches yet. Plus it's easy to clean. Excellent product!

Q:
I have a transition from vintners reserve to porcelain tile that is about 1/2 inch. Will the laminate reducer be ideal for that transition?1 answer
A:
Yes the reducer should work for this application.Q:
Will this T-Mold work for a 1/2 inch transition depth?1 answer
A:
Yes this will accomodate a 1/2 inch drop.Q:
I haven't layed the laminate yet but the transition from 12 mm laminate to tile, the tile is already 1/4 of an inch lower. If I include a high quality underlayment, the difference will be even greater. I am trying to order product and do not know if T molding will work or do I need the reducer. The reducer looks pretty extreme in hieght difference. Is there a general rule of thumb when measuring height differences to determine which to choose?1 answer
A:
I believe the reducer would work best based on your measurements.Q:
How much of a gap will the reducer cover?1 answer
A:
Approximately 1-1/4 inches.Q:

We've installed the flooring and it looks FANTASTIC. Now we need to finish it off with the reducers and end caps. We installed over concrete and are wondering if this is what we need to finish the ends.1 answer
A:
Depending on what you are finishing the floor to. If going up to carpet, door tracks, etc... you would use an end cap. For vinyl or bare floors you would use a reducer and for floors that are the same height such as ceramic tile or hardwood floors, you would use a T-molding. Your local store should be able to help you with the proper transitions needed.Q:
Do the reducers come with a track like the t-molds and end caps do?1 answer

I am installing the 12mm laminate and need to transition to ceramic tile, not a huge difference but there is a difference in height. Would a reducer work if not what would? Thank you!1 answer
A:
Depending on the difference, yes sometimes the T-mold will work if it is slight. I have at times had to use a flat metal to finish to ceramic tile.
