Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Walnut Hickory:
I am thrilled with the way the floor looks in the kitchen and how well it is fitting up next to the hardwood in the diningroom even though they are different colors. I was looking for the contrast with the red oak and this is working out perfectly!

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Walnut Hickory:
I was overall impressed with the flooring. I did no more than 3 unusable boards when installing over 600 sqft. It looks incredible laying down. It was the first time I installed hardwood floors and it was very easy.

Comments about Casa de Colour 3/4" x 2-1/4" Walnut Hickory:
We are really thrilled with these floors. The sample in the store doesn't do them justice. The boxes have wonderful variations in the color, and a lot of long boards. The only con so far... We have had a few that were missing the "groove" or the "tongue." The install is still in-progress, so we cannot attest to how well they will wear, but they sure are pretty.

will it get easily scratched?1 answer
A:
Any floor has the potential to scratch so it is up to the homeowner to help pervent scratches by taking preventive steps like having a no shoe policy in the home, putting covers over pet claws, using felt tips under furniture, and never slide furniture over the flooring. These steps will help you prevent a majority of scratches that could occur.Q:
Can I install solid hardwood over existing solid hardwood floors?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes. When installing hardwood flooring over hardwood flooring the board direction must be perpendicular to the existing floor direction or run on a diagonal. New boards run in the same direction would require additional 3/8 plywood. If you wish to run parallel add another 3/8" CDX Plywood. Plywood needs to be layed with 1/8" gaps for expansion and use ring shank nails on a 6-7 inch pattern over floor joist. Liquid Nail between is an good idea too but not completely necessary.Q:
