The grill looks good with the rest of the floor, but has to be nailed in separately and by hand because it does not lock in to the wood around it.

The associate in the store assured me I could take the unfinished grill to a local paint store and have them match the finish of the floor. I have been unable to find anywhere that can produce a color close enough to make the grills match the floor.
They are also a hair thicker than the actual floor, so they must be sanded down prior to installation. Don't waste your money on these unless you can get them pre-finished to match the floor.
