Like the fact that it is thicker than the baseboard that was removed. I think that installing new baseboards when you are installing new floors anyhow, give the space a finished look.

We had carpet in the diningroom/livingroom and found that our house was always dusty. Now with the Laminate floors I don't have to dust the furniture every or vacuum either. Good for me..

What can you say, it's trim.
The product was primed and clean so painting was quick and easy. I've purchased trim in the larger "Do it youseslf" places and it's always a challenge finding pieces that aren't warped, split, and just dirty. Well worth purchising it along with the floor.

Unfortunately these white "primed" baseboards will not take a stain, I suppose you could do a faux finish to try and match the stained flooring or purchase an unfinished oak base board and stain to match.

How do you install baseboard in rooms that have different floor heights? I have a new hardwood floor (Brazilian Teak from Lumber Liquidators) that is 1/2 inch shorter than the ceramic tile floor in the kitchen. The 3 and 1/4 inch base molding is a continious run between both rooms and no inconspicious place to transition to the next level.

                                A:

I wouldn't recommend this for door casings, (sorry we don't carry door trim).
                                Thank you for your inquiry.
