I'm a novice do-it-yourselfer. I had no problems laying down the floor. Aside from the glue going everywhere (user error), there were quite a lot of broken pieces of wood in the box. However, I worked around them and stretched when i had to. The pieces were very different colors (which is exactly what I wanted) and had enough of a random pattern to make it look good.

I have installed St James 12 mm laminate flooring and it worked great. But I'm about to install a section that ends on a top step. I have purchased the stair nose but could not find specific instructions for installing it with laminate (12mm St James). How is it installed? Could I use it to do the stairs?1 answer
A:
The stair nose is installed much the same way as a solid stair nose using construction adhesive and then pre-drilling and nailing with a #6 finish nail. we have instructyions on our website |
