This tool is a very good brad nailer and it will see a lot of projects. But what I purchased it for was toenailing the tongue on White Oak but this model is made for flat surfaces no tight corners.
This worked great for nailing baseboard and shoemold after installing new laminate flooring.
i bought this to replace one from harbor freight that always jammed

Q:Will this work to nail a stair nose to a stair?
A:For domestic wood products yes, for harder exotics I would pre-drill and use a finish nail to prevent splitting.
Q:Will this nailer work with stand bamboo quarter round?
A:Most likely the thin 18 gauge nail will bend, you may need to pre-drill and hand nail using a finish nail.
Q:Can this be used to face nail 3/4 hardwood flooring?
A:No. Brad nailers are recommended for trim only. No power nailers should not be used to face nail pre-finished flooring. Un finished okay but pref-finished would require pre-drilling to avoid damage to finish, then hand nailing then countersink.
Q:besides $20.00 what is the difference between the 2 18ga stapling guns?
A:One is designed as a 45 degree floor stapler and the other is a finish (brad nailer) for trim work.
Q:Will this nailer work with 5/8 Strand Bamboo flooring
A:Unfortunately not. I would recommend an 18 gauge cleat nailer.
Q:what floor sizes is this nailer recommended for?
A:This is a finish nailer and is not designed to install an entire floor.
