Used to glue down 2.5" Bellawood Brazaillian Cherry engineered floors. Read everyone's reviews so I was prepared for the messiness. Also, I was worried about the glue in the bucket drying out overnight so I carefully covered the glue inside the bucket sealing the edges to minimize the air trapped between the plastic and glue as others have suggested here. I used a kitchen trash bag. Then, I used another plastic bag between the lid and the bucket so the lid doesn't glue shut. Worked great, hardly any glue dried up. This is my first glue down project do I don't have any experience with other glues. I would imagine other glues are messy too. But it would be great if the glue didn't dry white. Clear would be ideal. Or wood color would be better than white. The trowel clips it comes with is useless.

I bought this glue because the sale guy said that this is the one I needed for cement floors. This stuff gets on EVERYTHING ! It took about 24 hours to cure and they weren't kidding. Wear gloves and old close because it is messy!!

I used this adhesive to glue down 5/8" solid bamboo all throught my pier and beam house. It was easy to work with (just don't get any on you!). I would just pour out a little and spread it using a 1/4" notched trowel. I was able to get around 120sq/ft per 5 gallon bucket. I used it on top of 1/4" cement board which was nailed to my 3/4"sufloor. We had a recommendation from a professional not to use the trowel attachment that comes with the glue but to use a 1/4" notched trowel. He said the trowel that comes with the glue, is not ment for "Bamboo". After it cured, we have a solid sounding floor that looks beautiful and the wife and I both love it. Expensive stuff but I would use it again.
This one product does it all.
you can get more coverage than stated on the container if you apply credit card thin layers on the concrete.
Used upstairs and on stairs for sound absorber and moisture control!

Chemically ideal for gluing wooden flooring to concrete, but can be extremely messy. It must be spread evenly in rainbow patterns; too much causes it to bubble up between the boards, and there is no getting out the dry glue. Be certain to wear clothes that can be thrown away after installation.
Easy to apply.

The 2 in 1 moisture barrier is great. It goes on a little thick and sets up quick. Remember to cover the glue when you aren't using it or it will start to gum up.

A:
Installer should remedy the issue, that is unacceptable. Once dry - Success has been made with mineral spirits but better is Bostik's Ultimate Adhesive Remover or Mapei Ultrabond Urethane Cleaner followed by a water damp rag to remove the adhesive remover before it can damage the finish. Hand buff. It seems that the remover dilutes the adhesive but when not completely removed the diluted adhesive dries on the finish leaving a residue. Try the remover as described above and repeat as many times that are necessary.Q:
Can this product be removed from sofa fabric?1 answer
A:
I would try mineral spirits to soften the adhesive (ALWAYS TEST FIRST FOR COLOR FASTNESS) and alot of clean white rags, blot- don't scrub.
