About Laminate Flooring
We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.)

Q:would this product work for a commercial application? In an office building?
A:This product question would be better answered by our Product Specialist @ (800) 476-0007; they are more familiar with all of our flooring products and can better assist you with your questions.
Q:Hi there. I just ordered 23 boxes of the Carolina Hickory. It states it to be a laminate. Is it a real wood laminate? My friend suggested that it may be a plastic.
A:Laminate flooring is a manmade product typically constructed with a high density fiber board core sandwiched in-between a melamine laminate backing, making them very water resistant, though not water proof. On the surface is a high quality photographic paper that has an image of wood or ceramic topped with abrasion resistant wear layer. Laminates with an (AC 3) Abrasion Criteria rating of 3 are well suited for light commercial applications and Laminates are great choices for radiant heat and cement installations. ManyLaminates are equipped with a pre-attached pad on the back, those that do not will require an underlayment. Warranty duration in years are related to wear layer thickness and warrantees are only applicable to normal foot traffic and board construction, not moisture, scratches and dents, these are site related issues.
Q:can this be installed over tile floors
A:Yes, provided they are flat and smooth.
