  • Q:

I have a summer cottage in Michigan I would like to install this floor. I do not keep it heated in the Winter. Is there a possibility the floor may delaminate due to the temperature extremes and changes in humidity? I can't use a solid as I have to float the floor due to the existing particle board subfloor.

  • Q:

We recently purchased 32 boxes. To acclimate the wood to our home, my husband and I have differing opinions. Does it need to be in a single layer and have a space between it and the next box? Or can it be stacked 3-4 boxes high and have a space between it and the next stack? Single boxes are quite space consuming. Thanks,
    Betty

      A:

Do not store directly on bare concrete. Cartons must be placed flat inside the home, in a dry place, close to the center of the installation area as possible, provide air flow around cartons. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from air vents and exterior walls. You can stack the boxes 4 or 5 high but no space between is required.
      Thank you for your inquiry
