We put TruFit Spanish Mahogany flooring down and used the African Mahogany end caps as transition strips in each doorway of our home. As much as I loved the floor before we put the end caps down, I love it that much more now with them. It changed the look of the flooring. It matched the wood of the flooring perfectly, and made it look professionally installed.

The installation was extremely easy and satisfying! My ONLY difficulty with the installation of the threshold from laminate to carpet. The sales help in Longmont was excellent. You need more options and intructions regarding the threshold.
The metal bar in the installation kit was inadequately padded. I needed to carry and position a cloth to protect the floors from it.

Had no issues with the product but did not work as a transition piece to tile or existing wood floors. Per my installer, better suited as a transition piece for carpet.

Installed Laminate flooring on entire main level of condo, friends are jealous

We are sorry that you haven't recieved your molding yet, but If you leave a 1" space between the laminate and what your transitioning too the laminate end cap will work.Q:

The carpet needs to be pulled back 1st, install flooring, install end cap, and then re-install carpet up to the transition.
