Hi 2 yrs. ago I bought laminate floors with padding attached. The floor was placed on a concrete slab. I was told no extra padding was required. Well my neighbor below me complains constantly that she hears everything,the prior neighbor never complained. The association has now filed a complaint, was there something I was suppose to place down before laying the floor? Please advise, it looks like the Association CC&R's feel that another padding needed to be place on floor first.1 answer

This product can be installed as is (with attached pad) but for additional sound control I would recommend our Eco Silent Sound underlayment. Adds 22 dB of sound insulation.Q:
