Beautiful flooring with gorgeous colors.Our contractor had no complaints.He said there was little to no waste and it installed easy.Just be careful with covering it with rugs as the flooring does get darker with sun exposure.We picked up our scatter rug because the area under it didn't darken like the rest of the floor and when we moved the rug you could see the outline of where the rug had been.Otherwise,the flooring is so beautiful that we are going to install it in our living room.We have a big dog and so far no scratches from his nails.For us it is a great choice of flooring.

I used this flooring in our kitchen 4 years ago, and we added our entrance way this year. Love the floor, but I have a couple of big dogs, and they're hard on it. I wish it was a little more durable. With my dogs, bamboo probably would of been a better choice. I was faced with tear everything and start over, but that was way too much work, and money at this time.
Special care note: DO NOT USE ANY STEAM CLEANERS ON ANY HARDWOOD FLOORING. They take the finish off. The only people that say they are safe, are the people who make them.

The flooring went down as planned. All boxes were milled properly, and all colors in the different boxes were good matches. I used clear epoxy to fill the few scratches/dents/defects in the finish. We love the tones and grains in the wood and the fact that it only took 2 days to complete the entire room 300 SQFT. This is an awesome looking floor and we are really proud that we put in in ourselves.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The floor looks beautiful. It goes well with my cherry furniture. It matches the oak flooring very well in other parts of the house. It adds warmth to the room. The wood is hard, but you still need to be careful with dropping things on it. My allergies seem to be better since getting rid of the carpet too!

Looks very nice. Very little waste. A few pieces of regular Cherry in one of the boxes, but other than that it was fantastic.

Beautiful wood and easy to install. Only problem is that about 5% of the boards split during stallation.

How much does Brazillion Lite oxidize? Do you install?1 answer

All wood species can change color over time due to oxidation or when exposed to light. In some species, the change can be more dramatic and may darken in color over time, while others tend to lighten. Currently there is no known value set for Patina or color change of a species so contractors and or customers should be aware of this normal condition. The patina process is unrelated to the urethane finishes.Q:

All wood floors can experience color shade change overtime. American cherry and many exotic species like Brazilian Cherry (regular and lite), Tiger wood, are photosensitive and will gain a richer, darker patina. Area rugs and large furniture that cover the floor should be moved periodically to allow exposure to UV light and air on the area. Eventually, the entire floor will reach the same even shading. There are no known values established for this natural condition, therefore, Manufactures do not warrant against these natural characteristics beyond its control.Q:
