Finished to Last. We apply our durable, industry-leading finish to each board using a groundbreaking multi-layered, micro-particle process for superior wear and scratch resistance. So, go ahead—bring on life and everything that comes with it. Your Bellawood floor will stay beautiful year after year. One look and it's easy to see why Brazilian Koa is often called Tigerwood. Its distinctive orange coloring and brown/black striping make it one of the most unique and exotic species available on the market today. And its durability is simply outstanding, resulting in a "not-so-everyday" floor that will stand up year after year to life's everyday demands. We caught up with real Lumber Liquidators' customers who volunteered to discuss their floor shopping, buying and installation experiences. In no way did these customers receive compensation for their kind words. (They're speaking straight from the heart.) About "Select Grade" Flooring It Taber Tested "the Best." When subjected to the industry sandpaper abrasion test, known as Taber Testing, Bellawood's durability results were more than double most comparably priced floors. There's good, there's better—and then there's Bellawood.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Brazilian Koa Flooring:
We had it installed by our friend, who is a professional floor installer. We thought, he will just show us how and we will continue, but he did such a great job and he knew all the tricks how to make inconsistencies disappear, so we had him finish it all. It looks absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I love this floor. We get many compliments.
We ordered 5% more, but we didn't need it all - we gonna make baseboards from the leftovers.

Comments about BELLAWOOD 3/4" x 5" Brazilian Koa Flooring:
At the price I paid this floor was a great deal, with gorgeous wood grain and strong finish. The fact that the wood is not artificially colored if there are any scratches they would not stand out. We love how it accents our family room and Fourier.

it gives so much character to every room. it truly looks like tiger stripes in places on the floor. i get many many compliments from every person that comes over. they get very impressed with the floor. I call it designer flooring. i don't know the pricing of hardwood elsewhere but i thought it would be a lot more expensive. i loved both my experiences with lumber liquidators. the reps were very helpful and my deliveries came in record time. i will always come back to lumber liquidators for quality and service

A:
You will seven boxes for this job (includes waste factor.Q:
Would you suggest this product to be used in the kitchen area ? How do you think it would hold up to a dogs nails..??? Does the color fade ?? Does this product warp,??1 answer
A:
Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability. All wood species can change color over time due to oxidation or when exposed to light. In some species, the change can be more dramatic and may darken in color over time, while others tend to lighten. Currently there is no known value set for Patina or color change of a species so contractors and or customers should be aware of this normal condition. The patina process is unrelated to the urethane finishes. If the moisture levels in the home are not contrlled it could warp.Q:
Do I need to glue this to a linoleum floor?1 answer
A:
No you do not..Q:
i have a 150lb Mastiff and am worried that my floor will be easily damage what should i do to prevent this1 answer
A:
It’s very unfortunate, but scratches can happen with all flooring. Even the hardest species of hardwood flooring can get scratched. In many cases it is just the surface or finish on the flooring that gets scratched which can be repaired with many different scratch repair products. These products can be found at Major Hardware stores and Wood flooring supply companies. If most of the flooring has scratches, a screen and re-coat can be done to restore the finish. If a single board is badly damaged a board replacement can also be done to fix the problem. When you notice a scratch on the floor, find out what caused the scratch and prevent it from happening again before the scratches become a big problem. If sliding furniture is causing scratches, place felt protection under the legs. If your plastic trash can or laundry basket is creating scratches place a cloth rug under them. If your pet is scratching the flooring, use vinyl claw covers over their nails. If your shoes or high heels are the culprit, have a no shoe policy in the home. The best way to stop scratches is to prevent them from happening in the first place.Q:

Does the prefinished Brazilian Koa ever need to be waxed or polished? If so, what kind of wax or polish?1 answer
A:
We can only recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes. Never use any polish, wax, oil soaps or cleaners that add shine to the floor. Thank you for your inquiry.Q:
Do you have base to match???1 answer
A:
We do not have Brazilian Koa baseboards however if you would want them to match the flooring instead of white we could get those ordered from our vendor as a custom order for youQ:
I'm going to install this product on a subfloor. Will underlayment be necessary? Also it says to allow for 3/4" expansion. This may be true in a higher humidity climate, but I live in Phoenix, AZ, where expansion tends to give way to contraction. It is hard to find a baseboard in 3/4" thickness. What is the minimum I can allow without adding quarter round? Your thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.1 answer

I would be glad to help you with this question.
