We used this to cover up an old Linoleum floor in our kitchen for a quick fix. The only complaint was the groove would fall apart when we were trying to snap the pieces together or when we hit them with a rubber mallot. It looks totally different in our kitchen for only [$] and took about 2 days off of our time!

for the most part this product goes together pretty smoothly. At times there are pieces that just do not want to go together. But for the price and a little elbow grease it can't be beat.

We bought enough flooring to do our kitchen, livingroom and hall. All areas turned out really beautiful. I love the way it looks, it makes our home look like a brand new house! The price was perfect! We were really afraid that because it was so cheap that we would really not like it, but that is not the case at all. The floor is very durable and I think it will stand up to kids and pets nicely. The only thing I would say that is negative about it is it can be a bit hard to install, but my husband did it just fine with minimal waste (just some cursing heard lol).
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery (to the store) time was normal. Everytime we had to speak with someone from the store they were very professional and curtious. Very nice to deal with. No product was damaged during shipping.

Q:
Hi, what do you please mean by moisture barrier? i want to lay product on a concrete finish floor of about 4000 sq/ft. please your adequate respond will help. thank you1 answer
A:
6mil Poly Sheeting: SKU #10008736Q:
can i use a 6 mil poly sheeting moisture barrier on a wood flooring before the installation of the floating floor?1 answer
A:
Do not use over wood subfloors as it may trap or condense moisture.Q:
how many boxes including waste for a 10 by 10 room.1 answer
A:
That would be approximately 110 square feet to include a 10% waste factorQ:
Does this product have risers and treads available? We have 12 steps with a landing in between.1 answer
A:
I do apologize, this material does not have matching treads and risers, what we would recommend is that you purchase unfinished and stain them to match the flooringQ:
What is a flouting floor?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Floating flooring does not fasten to the subfloor. Instead it locks together at the joints and lays/floats on the subfloor.Q:
I am redecorating an office and would like to use a floating floor. Currently most of the office has a thin commercial grade carpet glue directly to a concrete floor. We are having difficulty removing it. If you put down a 6 mil poly, can it be laid over the thin carpet? Would that help any with sound?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Carpet and pad needs to be removed for floating flooring installation because the locking mechanism will fail if not on a solid subfloor surface.Q:
I am considering this for the hallways in my office, but concerned about the noise when people walk by the offices. Is the floating floors as loud as regular laminate or hardwood floors? Which economical sound barrier do you recommend, cork too expensive?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
We have inexpensive Foam Underlayment and then better performers such as Eco Silent Sound and Quiet Walk, find here - www.lumberliquidators.com/ll/s/moldings-trim-accessories/underlaymentsQ:
Is this flooring water and stain resistant and dog urine? Would it soak through and would there be a lasting like it does with carpet?1 answer
A:
•Pet urine contains uric acid and ammonia which can cause a finish to dull and can damage any floor typically making it a dark or black color in appearance, especially if the pet urinates in the same spot over and over again.Q:
Does the 7mm Maple Calhoun floor have texture or grooves or is it smooth? I ordered a Cherry Laminate and online it looked smooth but when I got it I noticed it is textured. I LOVe the texture and wonder why the description online didn't say that it was textured.1 answer
A:
The Calhoun Maple is a smooth finishQ:
how many boxes would I need for a floor 17x17 and 14x141 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
22 boxes should be sufficient (allowing for 8% waste).
