Major Brand  7mm Calico Cherry Laminate

I have been installing floors for close to 20 years and this is one of the hardest installs I have done. It is a good looking floor once down but expect some frustrations.

We used this flooring for 3 bedrooms in a row home. Installation was fairly easy and it took 1 day for 5 people to prep and install this flooring for approximately 450 sq feet.

I was looking for an affordable, yet expensive looking flooring option. Lumber liquidators had this laminate for about $20.00/box. I had a total of 639 sq ft to be covered. I bought extra of course to allow for cuts. The kitchen was the most difficult room due to all the cuts that were necessary. My formal living room was a breeze as it was a simple square space without the need for too many cuts. My two gripes was the edges on a few planks. Many were crushed, like the crushed cardboard effect. It for the most part wasnt a huge issue as i either placed those planks in areas that would be covered by furniture, or for cuts. Then unfortunately, I cant remove the ashy look. I used hardwood floor specific cleaners. I initially bought a floor steamer to eliminate the use of chemicals. It didnt remove the ashy look and i know better than to use products like Pledge. So im left with ashy areas....not very visually appealing. But overall im satisfied and am thinking about doing the downstairs bathroom. Especially since this is or will soon be discontinued. I dont want to later decide to do other areas and not be able to, so im going to buy a few more boxes and just put them to the side until im ready to do other spaces.

This product was good for the cost... it was an overall easy to install , if you have to modify it sometimes it was challenging getting it in there. does show seams alittle bit in cross light but not too bad!

I have never even seen flooring done and I did two rooms myself! Some piece were broken but had chance to use them else where. My two rooms lokk fantastic

We used this in our livingroom and hallway. I wanted something that was reasonably priced but would withstand our 4 boys and dogs. So far so good itlooks beautiful and went in smoothly! Love it!

Covered ceramic tile with no problem!

This flooring looks great in our master bedroom. The cherry color is perfect!
