Can this type of flooring be restained after years to spruce it up?

  Yes it can.
  To restore the original shine of a solid hardwood, bamboo, cork, and engineered floor a screen and re-coat may be needed or a complete refinishing. A professional sand and finish expert would have to make the determination on site on which sanding process will be needed or which can be done to restore the floors shine. Hello, I am wondering about the eco-friendliness of this product. Is it FSC certified? Does it have high VOC's in the finishes or glues? Are the plywoods used in it formeldehyde free? I cannot find any information online about these things. Thanks!

  Despite today's advanced technology, water spills, dirt and other abrasive substances can damage a wood floor's finish. Location, traffic patterns, how often the floor is vacuumed and cleaned, children and/or pets are all factors that influence wear and durability.
