Comments about Dream Home - Kensington Manor 12mm Imperial Teak Handscraped Laminate:
Imperial Teak - Moldings did not match the color of the flooring very well. I used Golden Teak instead and it matched perfectly and fit much better because the pieces are wider. The only problem is that it only comes in 6 1/2 ft lengths.

I love my new floor!!! My husband and I installed our living room, dining room and hallway in just one weekend and plan to do the same in our three bedrooms over the next couple of weekends. The floor went in quickly and easily and looks incredible!! We did put a few knicks in the floor during installation but a stain pen fixed it right up and you'd never know the marks are there... love love love my floor!!!

Comments about Dream Home - Kensington Manor 12mm Imperial Teak Handscraped Laminate:
Love the finished product! This was my first home flooring project- so I spent a lot of time reviewing the available options, including laminate, hardwood, etc. When I found this laminate with the hand scraped look, I knew I had found a winner! It is easy to install (with the help of a few knowledgeable friends with flooring experience). Warms up the house- and adds a touch of class, without breaking the bank! The color is perfect- achieves the dark wood look without being too dark. Cherry hues with dark accents in the grain. Allows you to incorporate all furniture- light woods, dark woods, etc. Definitely recommend it! Also- VERY easy to clean!

Comments about Dream Home - Kensington Manor 12mm Imperial Teak Handscraped Laminate:
My rooms look beautiful! I have been searching for high quality laminate that looks like wood for YEARS and I am sooo glad that I didn't settle until I found this beautiful flooring at LL! The hand scraped finish lends itself to the appearance of hardwood but with the grandkids and the dog, we won't be dealing with the wear that hardwood shows with toys that scrape the floors and pets that "make mistakes". We had the whole family over days after the work was completed and the grands were scraping toys on the floor while playing. My Mother's face was panic stricken and without any words she seemed to be screaming "are you going to allow that on this new floor?" I just smiled and reaffirmed my "laminate decision" because those scraping toys didn't leave a mark! We replaced the following floors with this product: family room = old Pergo laminate (yuck); living room = carpet; dining room = 12 year old Bruce hardwood that was faded and nicked up. We also had installers referred by Lumber Liquidators complete the job for us and they did an amazing job. We couldn't be happier!

I used an installer that was recommended by Lumber Liquidators and he and his crew did a fantastic job. They removed the carpoet, took it away, moved furniture and placed it back.

Comments about Dream Home - Kensington Manor 12mm Imperial Teak Handscraped Laminate:
I really love this floor and there is no doubt how beautiful it is. Even though I am a beginner, I didn't find it too hard to install but will say to make sure your gaps between rooms are nearly perfect or you will be in trouble. I was able to get this floor in with about 3 days total of work which will save you a ton of money.
I was most disappointed in the fact that this floor scratched and chipped so easily. In fact, I had many pieces come out of the box in pretty bad shape! I had enough to finish the job so I didn't worry about it. Just being careful isn't really enough. Go ahead and invest in a touch-up pen if you get this floor.

Comments about Dream Home - Kensington Manor 12mm Imperial Teak Handscraped Laminate:
This was the 2nd laminate floor that I had installed. The Dream Home product went down very, very easy with minimal chipping and no buckling. Compared to the first product I installed, the Dream Home floor was a dream come true (pun intended).
It looks fantastic; however, it looks a bit too shiny in very strong direct sunlight. I installed it in every room except for the kitchen and bathroom downstairs (where we have tile). I am now installing it in every room upstairs.
It feels great to walk on. The padding in the floor makes it comfortable. My house is 28 years old and squeaked and groaned in many, many spots with the old carpet. No more squeaks and groans with the new laminate.
Cleaning is very easy. A damp cloth on a Swiffer mop can clean the entire house in a matter of minutes. I do suggest that you stay away from certain products as they leave streaks--even our steam mop leaves streaks. However, to sanitize the floors, we'll go over them once with a product (Pine Sol or steam mop) and then follow over with a damp towel to take away the streaks.
We have three cats and a dog, a baby, and two active parents. There are no dings or scratches in the floor that any product other than tile would have remained resilient to. A broken couch leg (jagged plastic) scratched a bit in the family room, but we filled it in with a stain pen and you can't see it anymore. We also knocked over a metal lamp that left two little dings. Again, filled them in with a stain pen, and they're virtually invisible. You couldn't find any of the dings unless I told you exactly where to look and you were on your hands and knees.
