4" x 14" Maple Unfinished Grill- Drop-in

To match your new floors!
Easy to install: Simply drop the unit into the duct opening.
Standard sizes are 4" x 10" and 4" x 12".
Customized sizes are also available.

Please note the nominal thickness of the wood and bamboo (not laminate) grills is 5/8". It can be used with any floor that thick or thicker, but not thinner.

Q:
What are the ROUGH OPENING dimensions for:

4" x 14" Maple Drop In Grill (10002197) ?
and
4" x 14" Maple Flush with Frame Grill (10002486) ?

Which of these two grills will COVER OVER TOP of (not butt against) the rough opening?

  Our Wood floor vents are designed to be installed within (flush mount) or on top of (drop in) a wood floor.
  The rough opening is just that the rough opening in the subfloor; The Drop In Grill will have an overall dimension of 5 3/16" x 15 1/4" the portion that would "drop into" the rough opening measures 3 5/8" x 13 3/4".
  The Flush Mount w/ Frame will have an overall frame dimension of 6 3/4" x 16 13/16" and the removable vent portion will be approx. 5" x 14 5/8" I believe this is the one that you are looking for.
