Comments about BELLAWOOD Engineered 1/2" x 5" Maple Engineered:
Think twice about floating this floor. It tends to warp vertically but no edge bow, so its fine if you staple it down to the subfloor. This looks to be a spring board night mare if you just plan on edge glueing the joint as a floating floor. Otherwise very good product ran 800 square of this with no issues and only a couple pcs that were mis milled

Comments about BELLAWOOD Engineered 1/2" x 5" Maple Engineered:
I was worried about going with a light hardwood flooring with my dark furniture. I was worried about scratches from my dogs. Boy, was I wrong. The color variations in the maple are fabulous, with spots of dark that complement my dark cherry bedroom furniture. The light flooring does not show dirt (including pet hair - I have 3 labrador retrievers). I haven't seen a scratch yet. And, so much cleaner and easier to clean than my old carpet! I smile every time I look at it. [...] I could not be more pleased. I just purchased the same flooring for the rest of my house.

A:
We do not recommend steam mops on our laminates or on any of our floors. Although steam mops are appropriate for kitchen sheet vinyl or ceramic tiles. Wood, laminate and cork floorings have raw seam edges that can swell or cup after steam cleaning. We recommend our Bellawood Floor Cleaner, or cleaners that are safe for water based urethane finishes.
