The price was good for this piece, but the stain is horrific. Splotchy and sprayed on. Color was much oranger than the rest of my gunstock flooring. I almost want to refinish it. I bought it online because it was cheaper than [@] By the time I exchange it with return shipping, it will end up costing more that the other places. I'm sure they're not all like this, so you may have more luck picking a piece out of the store instead of hoping that they mail you a quality product.

Q:
I see you have prefinished gunstock oak stair nose as well as unfinished treads. What is the difference between these two (other than one is finished and one is not. :) )1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The main difference is the look you are looking for. Stair Nose can be used with your flooring on the stairs or you go with a solid tread.Q:
I am replacing carpeted stairs with 3/4" x 3-1/4" oak prefinished.1 answer
A:
The existing bullnose should be cut off flush with the stair riser and then this stair nose will be fitted over existing tread.
