Best Uses
My husband and I put our hardwoods in by ourselves. We took our time and spent 2 weeks laying the flooring in the large living and dining rooms. This included screwing down our floor boards, laying the black tar paper which was stabled into place and then hammer for a flat surface. My husband used his Miter saw to make the straight cuts at the wall. I arranged the boards so the lines staggered. We're very proud of our work. There is nothing more rewarding than doing a project yourself, if it's done right. We have used both an electric nail gun and a manual one. It goes a lot faster with the electric nail hammer. You can rent the equipment at [@]. They charge by the day so you have to get it done quickly.
