Comments about Summer Retreat Teak Laminate Stair Nose:
We used three different transition strips and they all made such a diference in making the room look finished. Very happy with the product.

Comments about Summer Retreat Teak Laminate Stair Nose:
This product, Stair Nosing, was installed in a fairly high-profile area, a wide (10') step-up between a kitchen and a large living room. The bump-up (raised-profile) of this nosing above the laminate on the stair treads themselves is not an ideal look. Seems that Kensington (the mfr of this particular laminate) could come up with flush look for this nosing.
Service and delivery comments:
The personal service, and advise, at the local Little Rock store was always 1st rate, superb.
Sincerely,
Tom Norman

Comments about Summer Retreat Teak Laminate Stair Nose:
Put it in master bedroom, dressing room, hall and stairs. It is a much higher quality floor than what I put in the family room for almost the same price. I am a 65 year old female and if I can install it anyone should be able to install it themselves.

Q:
We bought Kensington Manor 12mm Summer Teak with the attached pad. How does the stair nose fit to the laminate floor on the cut edges? The flooring is taller than the stair nose. The total height of the floor with the attached pad is 14mm and the stair nose appears to be 12mm with the shim. We are installing this around a sunken living room. If we lift the stair nose up higher to make it work, the stair nose will no longer hang over the carpet, it will be above the carpet.1 answer
