I used this for a Laminate flooring installation on the second floor, going over plywood. It's easy to install. A definite "must" for laminate flooring installations. Great price too! If you don't need the high end stuff for a vapor barrier, this is your product.

Ripped out half carpet and half linoleum in kitchen/sitting room. Put in this stuff and everyone loves it. Have 3 kids dog and cat. Need easy and low. maint. Have real hardwoods other places and hate the maint. and scratches.

My son-in-law who is a contractor just finished laying my new laminate floor about a week ago and I am so thrilled with it. It is in the formal living room-dining room. It has made the room look more spacious and it is so beautiful. He also laid it in our foyer and down the hall. Next will be the family room and master bedroom. I purchased the flooring already, I'm just waiting for him to have the time to lay it although it looks so easy I think maybe I might try my hand at it.
I have 10 grandchildren and two dogs so I love that I don't have to worry about the carpeting and spills, etc. I can't wait to get the rest of it down. Everyone who has seen it loves it.

This product worked out just fine for my rental property project. It's cheap and does the job. A bit tricky to work with though - it won't just lay flat when you are trying to lay it out. You need to put some heavy stuff in the corners to hold it down. But I'd buy it again.

As the title says, I have nothing to compare this to, but it worked fine for the laminate that I put down. It took a little bit to figure out the best way to get your seams straight and taped down, but after that it wasn't hard at all

We did three rooms and the hall in laminate floors and Dream Home Foam Underlayment worked great. It was also very affordable.

We converted an up/down duplex into a single family home w/ an efficiency upstairs in the back. Most of the downstairs is now one continuous living space - over 700sf - for which we needed an inexpensive floor in a hurry. This DreamFoam underlayment and LL's discount 6mm laminate fit the budget and "easy install" needs nicely. It's laid on top of very solid 90yr.old floorboards, so we expect it to hold up well. Our current plan is to replace the laminate with hardwood when finances permit in 3-5 years, and keep this underlay in place.
Installation, as noted, was easy. We tacked down the original floorboards, rolled this out, and trimmed the edges to fit. Simple. It is a bit tough to cut, though. Grandma's upholstering scissors worked better than a very sharp knife for the longer trims. The floating laminate laid out quick & easy on top of it, too.
Remaining imperfections in the floorboards have been covered by the DreamFoam. The floating laminate looks and feels quite smooth and even - no soft spots, spikes, or gapping.
It's probably muffling sound, but I have no way of checking that without sitting in our unfinished basement while the kids run around upstairs. Maybe I'll update this in future :)
Durability remains to be seen - we've only had the floor in for a month. Being tough to cut is probably a good sign. I'll update this some year, too :)
The DreamFoam suits our needs well right now, so it gets 4 stars. If it's still good when we re-do the floor in a few years, I'll upgrade it to 5 stars.

We used the Dream Home Foam Underlayment over concrete subfloor as padding under bamboo wood laminate. It will prevent dampness from getting through to the new laminate, and you can feel the cushioning when you walk on the new floor. Very good product at an excellent price. Similar underlayment at big stores costs twice as much.

I love this stuff. I have walked on floors with no underlayment and they are so loud and with this it is nice and quiet when you walk on the floors. I recommend that if you lay a floating floor you use this!!

I used it throughout the 550 ft installation of the Dream Home Swedish Maple laminate and it made the imperfections in my sub floor go away. its VERY NACESSARY!

I finally got the time to install the floor. I love it. We just finished and it looks fabulous. My son loves his new bedroom and his all new band room. Now he has a nice looking area for band practice. I was so excited to get the floor down I forgot to take photos.

Beautiful Noise Reduction with this Padding! I have been in other people's homes that have laminate floors and used different materials, such as pre-adhered pads. This is the best looking, sounding floor I have seen for a laminate install! I had Dream Home Foam Underlayment by Dream Home with Mt. Vernon Cherry floors 7mm laminate Installed. I had my entire condo done and now I can say I'm proud to live here!

This product is easy to use. This is thin but durable and easy to cut for a custom fit. We chose to go with this underlay not only becuase of the price but the price of the laminate flooring was cheeper using this product as well. When shopping around nothing could beat the savings of Lumber Luidators even with having to travel a greater distance for pick up it was still a great savings.

My house looks like a new home with the new laminate flooring. The old carpet was stained and frankly ugly. The new flooring is quiet, has cushion and is so easy to take care of, the best move I have made as a homeowner!

Used this for bedrooms after getting rid of carpet. Total ease of installation. I had no trouble laying it out over concrete, or taping strips together with wide clear tape. I'm pretty handy, but a 12 yr old could do this.

The foam may look thin, but it does it's job well. I would definately use again and recommend to others. The price was right too!
