My wife & I used this product for the first time. We found it easy to work with. We do notice a big difference in using this versus the underlayment paper we've used in the past. A novice would have no problem.

Easy to install makes a huge difference beats the resin paper normally used under the hardwood flooring. I have it under my Brazilian Teak floors and I'm glad it's there worth the extra cost.

Easy To Install, Reduces Noise, soundproofing & warmth
Best Uses:

With a new addition attached to existing hardwood flooring, this product helped even out the transition and our new build is elevated - so the new flooring is over air space. This helps keep the new addition warmer. Also, we used this for better soundproofing between bedrooms and a lower level rec room. It helps.

Though it is much more expensive than regular rosen paper, we are glad we made the right choice. It is easy to apply underneath the wood. It keeps floor quiet and the room warm in the winter time. In fact, we have recommended this to a good friend of ours. They bought them for their new floor recently.

Having this product added and installed under my hardwood floors was the best decision I have made. It really does make a difference. It reduced the noise in my master bedroom by 1/2. I was amazed at before when you were in my lving room you could here someone walking upstairs in my bedroom. Now the noise is minimal. This insulyament was the best investment I have evermade.
Thanks,
