I used the pry bar, spacers, pencil, tape measure, and tapping block. Everything else is pretty much useless. Therefore, buy this if you don't have any of these items. Otherwise, there isn't really any need to buy.

The bucket comes with everything that you'll need to start installing floors, minus the power tools. I use the tape measure in the bucket more than the one I paid more from [...]. Initially thought it was going to end up being a waste of money with cheaply made items, but they're pretty legit & glad we got it.

It has everything you need and somethings you don't need for the installation. It is handy so you do not have to go looking for all the tools.

Do not use the tapping block as it caused more damage - use a cut piece of the floor that is scrap it works better and easier

I used this to install a laminate flooring in a 100 sq. ft. room. For the tools it comes with a lot of money was saved versus buying them individually at a hardware store, even if the cheap ones were chosen. This package was sufficient for getting the job done.

One complaint I had was that the pull bar's felt pads were not installed in the right location - they seemed to have no strategic location and were just slapped on wherever the packager's hand was at the moment. This led to damaging some of the boards. I relocated these after damaging a few rows, which are unfortunately the rows perfectly lit for people to see as they enter the room. Next time I'll know where to ensure the pads are before starting a project like this again.

The other thing to note is that the under cut hand saw for the door casings didn't come with sufficient lengths of protective slides to cover the blades. At one point of reaching into the bucket I sliced my thumb open pretty bad on an exposed side of the blade. It's probably not a good idea to store blades in a bucket in the first place, but this should have come in an individual box or with some other better protection mechanism.

The kit contained all I needed and then some. About the only thing I added was my hammer. The tools worked well though some were not top quality they were sufficient for the job. I'm glad I got it or I would not have been able to finish the job.

Like how the kit includes tools needed to install flooring, so we didn't have to hunt them down and perhaps miss something we need. Like the extras, such as the baseball cap and the safety glasses.
We haven't put down the new floor yet, so don't know if there are any tools or items not included that we'd still need to do the job.

We found the contents of the installation kit to be very useful and convenient to have in one place. There were several of us working on the floor installation and we found that it would have been more efficient to have more than the one tapping block included in the kit so that we could continue to keep working without having to stop and wait for someone else to finish with the tapping block. Other than that, we highly recommend getting this kit for your installation.

We discovered that we needed almost everything in the bucket to install our laminate flooring. From the knee pads and glasses to the tamping block and the metal puller, the items proved to be very useful to us. Although it took a while for us to get the hang of it, we couldn't have acheived the great results in our home if we had not purchased the bucket. I only wish there had been an instruction sheet inside to explain and make suggestions from the experts on the best way to use the items for the best result. The hand saw proved to be a great tool but we had to figure out for ourselves how to do it.

The wooden block should be hard plastic. The wooden block broke halfway thru the bedroom project had to go purchase a hard plastic block. I used a rubber hammer as recommended.

My husband insisted I buy this bucket while I was at the store. We had all of tools at home, but he thought, just maybe we'd need the tools enclosed in this bucket. The spacers were good to put against the wall, but you probably could've used something else. Our floor is beautiful and we love it ! We have the Canary Island Pine. It makes everything look new, even the furniture I'd like to replace. :)

This is a good product that has everything you need to install laminate floors except the saws!! I recommend this kit even for the guys who have most tools as it has specefic tools for doing wood floors and has the bucket to keep all the items together. I have installed over 4000 square feet of the laminate flooring in 3 different apartments and this kit made this time the easiest!!!

All in all not bad for [$]. Didn't expect much but was surprised at the quality of the tape measure. The hammer wasn't bad either. Was disappointed in the safety glasses though because they were cool looking and came in a case. They broke as I was taking them off after about the third day of work. The knee pads, felt pads, pencils, pull bar, hat, and dust mask all performed as expected. Didn't have a need for the chalk line. The spacers were somewhat difficult to remove at times due to their design.

The bucket had everything you needed to get the job done (I did laminates). In all honesty it's not the best collection of tools. It's more like a sampler. Prime example is the Door Jamb saw... it will get the job done but I ended up buying a better one for an extra cost ($10). It's a great starter kit but for the folks that plan to do more than 2 rooms you will definitely go out and invest on better tools. But for [$] it's a great buy...
