Great Quality nearly clear wood - I installed with Bella Wood 'C' grade (color variances, small knots, "rustic" 50 year flooring). Because the color and quality of the Stair Nose is as good as it is I felt we had to pick the better pieces out of our boxes to match the nosing compared to the rest of the floors - not complaining, this is result of the rustic flooring look we wanted. The only disappointment was the fact that the nosing is about .050" thinner than the BellaWood flooring causing a small step between the nosing and the flooring (most visitors would not notice this but it stood out to me :). Recommend gluing stairs with PL400 to avoid visable face nailing (drill/nail only under trim at ends to hold until adhesive dries) and added benefit of PL400 is removal of any squeaking that remained after renailing/screwing existing stairs). Overall - good stair nosing for 3/4" Oak Flooring.

I did use the bull nose piece in 2 places but I do wish I had checked around a bit more for a possible better looking piece. It looks a bit cheap against my beautiful hardwood floors. I recently had other work done around the house and something must have scraped across the front and took some of the finish off, hopefully I will be able to repair it. Recommendation.... do your homework and get what is best for the application do not settle for your first choice like I did. One other note: I could not be happier with the hardwood floors I purchased a few months earlier, they are absolutely gorgeous.

Edging of boards had more defects, like chips, than I would have expected from the select grade that I purchase.

My wife of more than 48 years has always said she didn't want any kind of wood flooring. After two unsuccessful attempts at a tile foyer, because we found out later there was not a proper base to lay tile on, I talked her into Bella Wood.
She now wants to know why I didn't get Bella installed long ago and wants in more areas of our home.

The Bellawood was never a question for us and the trim pieces from Lumber Liquidators matched perfectly

We feel like we've moved into a whole new house with the new look and feel of our new wood floor. We are both happy with the finished product and I'm especially happy with saving thousands of dollars by not moving! We did the tear out of the old floor and we hired a pro to put in the Bellawood flooring.
