moves and wrinkles alot. assuming this would be with any foam but dont know first time i used anything like this. make sure you have it straight and where you want it before you tape the seams. otherwise wrinkles will be uneven under floor.

Went down with ease. Use a sharp pair of heavy scissors or utility knife. Tape provided holds underlayment down while laminate flooring was to be applied. Prices can't be beat by "box stores".

Difficult to install, especially with just one person. I would recommend getting the laminate with the padding attached if you can afford it. If you do purchase this padding, you just need to be very patient because it can be difficult getting the different pieces of padding lined up and taped.

I was pleasantly surprised when we laid this to find it did a good job. I put only 4 stars because I know it's not the best underlayment you can buy. We put this under laminate and it's quite cushy right now.

Go for the upgrade. This did not help that hollow laminate sound. We were planing on selling our house, so I don't regret going cheep, but if it were in a house I planned on living in, I would upgrade.

used it for laminate floor in a rental cottage. surprisingly good quality noise reduction and feel under laminate flooring, for the price. there is far better, but for far more money. cost to quality ratio very good with this underlayment. definitely geat for rental property.

Not bad when using with laminate flooring. Easy to install, although the tape that comes with it is pretty cheap. Doesn't really help with noise reduction because of it's width, but does the trick for someone on a budget.

great deal for price; if you need a lot of square-feet and want a great price for an average labminate, this is your stuff. you'll get 5-10 years for little money; the real deal is for getting ride of nasty carpet, inexpensively. if you want flooring for your persnal desires and plan on living with it for a lenthly time, try the 2-dollar laminate for a thicker base and less noise with quality look. the 89-cent flooring will do wonders though for a quick-sale, carpet-replacement, or cheap way to make home decent.

This was by far the easiest floor installation we have ever done and you can tell the underlayment helped make the job easier while maintaining the benefit of cork being softer on the feet and a better noise barrier. We can't hear anyone walking around upstairs when we're in the room directly below it.

I used the underlayment over an OSB subfloor and under a nail down engineered wood flooring to add minimial cushion and to prevent squeaks. The underlayment was easy to install, I stapled it to the subfloor and used the included tape between rows. It will tear with toe pressure when kneeling on the underlayment but it is easily patched with the tape. Worth the money for the use.

Lay 1st row making sure that it's straight. Start your next row by cutting a full panel in half (make sure the cut edge is against the wall). this allows you to stagger the seams. Using rubber tapper, tap 2nd line of flooring into the 1st row locking the flooring together. Start the 3rd row with a full piece of flooring. Any size piece can start the third row as long as it's not a full piece. As you continue you will find it will get easier. BEST OF LUCK

Used the product under laminate floor in the kitchen. Easy to use and helps reduce noise when walking through. Will use it again when I'm ready to do another room.
Did not use delivery, but the person at the warehouse was nice. He did try to put a recently returned package in my truck, but replaced it w/ a new one when I requested it. Salesman was great,even though it was the end of the day.

Not as nice as the $25 a roll stuff from [...], but it only costs [$] a roll. The only real problem is that the edges are not straight (slightly curved once you unroll). Not really a huge deal though. You can make it work and save some money at the same time.

I like how it made my floors easy to install with one exception. You have to trim the foam for each roll. It would be nice if the rolls were perfectly straight on the edges so it would be easier to roll down on the subfloor. However, for the price they work great.

I was really unsure about getting the flooring without the pad already attached, but when I used the foam underlayment it was not hard to use at all. Just roll it out and lay down your floor. As a person who has never installed a floor before my husband and I found it very easy to do.

The foam is a thin foam vapor barrier and pad. It comes with tape to assemble the seams and clear instructions. I selected this product to protect the new installation of a floating floor from cement moisture in the basement. It seems to be working as planned.

I was skeptical at first thinking this product was so inexpensive it would not do the job compared with much higher priced alternatives. I WAS WRONG, it went down easy and truly reduced the noise factor in the basement below. It istalled easily and even my two Labradors did not bother it while I laid it, and they are rambunctious. Todd White helped me at Lumber Liquidators and he is a PROFESSIONAL & I LOVED speaking with him. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I had a little trouble with this at first because it rolls up and slides around while you're trying to roll it out, but if you tape the first sheet to the floor and then tape each additional sheet to the one next to it while you're rolling, it works fine.

When I looked at it I thought it would not really help padding wise, but it's done well. When we walked over it from the bare floor you really felt it.
I went to pick out the flooring and the guys were very helpfull and willing to work slowly with someone who had never installed flooring before.

I went with this basic foam underlayment in order to save money. The product turned out to be fine for my project. I put down a wood laminate floor on top of this foam. It is super easy to apply. The floors are very quiet. The other foam underlayments are more than twice the cost of this, but this product worked just fine.

There's not much to say about the underlayment. It does its job acting as a thin layer between the concrete floor and the laminate hardwood floor in my condo. Great value for its price. If you have a level floor and plan on putting down laminate hardwood floors, then this product is what you need.
Service was phenomenal. Packages of laminate hardwood flooring were brought to my car. The sales clerk was friendly and provided many options and pricing. It was a pleasant transaction.

This product was easy to install. The flooring flowed over the foam. The underlayment took care of any noises we had on our uneven old farm house kitchen floor.

I used this product with laminate wood flooring. It worked perfect. I like the fact that it has a moisture barrier built into it, which saved me the time of laying down black plastic first.

If you can read a tape measure, draw and cut a straight line and have good knee pads, you can install this flooring. Be sure and leave yourself enough room at the end of a run to install the last piece. I would recommend cutting this material outside because of the dust. It completely changes the look of a room. For the price, you aren't going to beat it.

I bought this product to use with a Laminate Hardwood look floor. It was easy to install but the tape that came with it was useless I recommend using either duct tape to seam this product together or a really good Polyethylene Tape. It quiets the floor down pretty well and doesn't leave the floor sounding hollow.

Laminate is as always, compared to all other products, the easiest to install. We live at the beach. It stands up to the sand, water, and our big dogs! Almost the same thing we installed two years before Hurricane Ike. We put it back in and get the same compliments. The flooring is Great!
Flooring is a great value for the buck but it is thin laminate and you need a stable, even floor. If your floor is not in good shape, you should probably buy something thicker.
The T-mold, I was not impressed with. It is not the same color and it looks cheap. We will build something to replace it with.

Overall is performs intended function but very difficult to install because it is
rolled up. Also taping the seams was pretty tedious too. They should make the same product as flat "tile" sheets so that they are a bit easier to install. Also, it was difficult for me because I was a one man show....

We rolled it out, taped the seams and the job went fast and smooth.
Just remember to get an install kit and proper hammers, or you'll make a trip to the store like us.
The floor looks even better than we had hoped.

This product looks great. It is relatively easy to install, if you have some home improvement experience. You will need to know how to saw planks, possibly figure out some angles to cut, trim baseboards or possibly replace baseboard. It is quite fun to install, and you can involve your children in the installation.

We used this foam under our laminate floor. It reduces noise in the room and helps protect the original floor underneath. The only thing that wasn't wonderful was how much it moved around (husband didn't tape it down prior to laying the laminate over top, would recommend this step). It was easy to cut around heating ducts and easy to lay under the molding.

I used this for a Laminate flooring installation on the second floor, going over plywood. It's easy to install. A definite "must" for laminate flooring installations. Great price too! If you don't need the high end stuff for a vapor barrier, this is your product.

My son-in-law who is a contractor just finished laying my new laminate floor about a week ago and I am so thrilled with it. It is in the formal living room-dining room. It has made the room look more spacious and it is so beautiful. He also laid it in our foyer and down the hall. Next will be the family room and master bedroom. I purchased the flooring already, I'm just waiting for him to have the time to lay it although it looks so easy I think maybe I might try my hand at it.
I have 10 grandchildren and two dogs so I love that I don't have to worry about the carpeting and spills, etc. I can't wait to get the rest of it down. Everyone who has seen it loves it.

This product worked out just fine for my rental property project. It's cheap and does the job. A bit tricky to work with though - it won't just lay flat when you are trying to lay it out. You need to put some heavy stuff in the corners to hold it down. But I'd buy it again.
